Hi, i watched your how to video on the install sample schema, all of the things look good in my system, furthermore when i tried to install sample schema it appeared "ora-12154: tns:could not resolve the connect identifier specified" in my command prompt. Thanks for such a nice video Manish. Would've been nice if you started right from the beginning.. download Oracle 19c zip file, unzip it and then run setup.exe! Because setup.exe is not running for me with only a flash. As you suggested, looked if any previous traces and found none! Not sure what's wrong. got more than enough space on my C: Drive, 51.3 GB free. Thanks, Chandu

While installing oracle 19c then i had selected virtual user, and no other username field was there while installing. So while connecting to db which username to user as while connecting it is asking for username, password, db name , sid all things I have except username as no usename was entered anywhere in intallation process then which usernmae to use to connect.

I found that if the pc name and windows user name are the same, this issue occurs. Change either name (pc name change is easier) and restart before installation again.

I followed this tutorial to install the oracle. Then, after opening sql plus inadministrator mode and also in normal mode, I entered my username and password and it says wrong "ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied" and also in the localhost address, it says invalid container name.. I assure you username and passwords are correct to my knowledge.. any suggestions?

i have installed both 19c (removed now) & 11g (available) for using them but none of them is able to create tnsnames.ora & listener.ora during the installation process. I have tried all oracle tools NET MANAGER, NET CONFIG TOOL but failed to create a listener after i copied both files from another machine. but in Windows services LISTENER is running.. I don't know what is happening with me. please help needed.
