I installed custom plantation shutters for 25 years before retiring ( over 11,000 jobs). You do a nice job of explaining the process. Thanks for sharing
Thanks mate. We’re in Brisbane and were thinking of replacing our old venetian blinds in the master bedroom. Good to have a local showing relevant guides.
I love your channel it’s great to have a Aussie with a fantastically explained DIY channel. Your channel is exactly what I’m looking for my first new property (Brisbane) make overs. I have used so many of your videos in the last 5 months to learn how to do DIY jobs. Trying to do all the work myself or in a friends working-be. (Excluding electrical and pluming need specialists for this.) Would like to see how you may strip and rejuvenate a oil painted and carpeted timber staircase. Possible idea for you. Keep it up and thank you again for all your work mate.
Fantastic video as always Bill, certainly a better look that vertical blinds. Thinking of doing this myself. Great explanation and demonstration as always, very informative. Really love your videos. Keep up the great work. 👍
You need to hang the panels before applying all the screws. This simplifies the adjustments. Start by fastening only the two side screws at the top then you slide the bottom back and forth until the panels close smoothly
It's most detailed and very nicely explained, videos in Australia 🇦🇺..good work mate..please sharing your great work videos, also where have you ordered this shutters? Thanks again
They are recessed with an attached casing/architrave around it which actually tie everything in much better than having to seal/caulk any gaps around it👍
