Thank you Ghostlyrich. I have a set of boards that I picked up yesterday for my 2500. The technical directions accompanying the package are terrible. Whom ever they pay to write these, well, just wow. I wish your video could come along with installation instructions. The brands are different but the mounting brackets are similar enough that your instruction on the ‘bolt/bracket’ for unthreaded holes made the difference. I just couldn’t see it on the technical directions…my brain is more visual. So thanks for the video. Nice job on your 1500. Looks really good and the boards complete the job. Well done. Thanks.

That happened to me when I took my old running boards off, the bolt fell into the body. I was pissed but then I remembered I have a magnet on an extendable handle, kind of like the old black and white tv antennas, and I was able to retrieve it. I recommend those for working with nuts and bolts.

I like that shade of blue on the truck.

Looks like you have a leveling kit on there and running some larger tires on stock 20s....what size are those? looks good!!

Gary, thanks for the vid. I have one comment and two questions. First, love that color on your truck. It looks as good on your's as it does on mine. Second, what tires are you running? And most importantly I need to know how low these hang ( distance from the ground ) I have tried the Carr LD step and it was too low, my wife could not span the gap from the step to the door sill. Nuts/ bolts. Bolts are the long ones and nuts have the holes.

Do you know what that style of insert is called that you put in the top hole to reveal threads to screw on to the brackets ? Wondering if they would sell those separately bought some running boards with no bolts or nothing

Nice video. What was the actual iboard part number on the box? I notice your kit has a special bracket for the front drivers side to allow for a factory bracket found on some late models.
