How to Install the Apex Extended Single-Sided Magazine Release for the Springfield Echelon

You don't need a punch, there's one on each backstrap.

Thanks for making this. I just ordered mine today. Unfortunately I think the single side mag release should be a requirement if you plan on carrying the Echelon on duty. I discovered the hard way that if you push hard enough on your holster you can activate the ambi mag release and the gun will dump your mag when you get out of the car.

So I got mine in this past week. I tested it at the range and it works great so far. However I think you guys under estimate how long it takes to break in the mag release. In my experience it took well over 1000 reps before the mag release would stop sticking. Even after all that time it still sticks on occasion.

Hi team Apex ... Will you make a trigger shoe for the Echelon pistol?

Can't wait to get one for mine. Do you have a trigger kit for it yet? I would love to see a machined aluminum duty trigger like the one you guys made for the M&P full size.

Mine still sticks! Will have to take it back out and either slightly modify or polish or reinstall factory one. Doe not just work right out with a little working or manipulation like they say. Dont sale shit that does not work properly! Clowns!
