In this edition of Training Tuesday, Baxi training manager Andy, shows you how to install the Baxi Multifit Pipework Kit which enables a quick and neat installation, saving you time and hassle.
This kit is a set of preformed pipes intended to run behind the boiler to connect to pipes located above the unit and is compatible with the Baxi 200/400/600/800 Combi 2 range, Baxi 600/800 System 2 range, Baxi Assure 500 Combi 2 and Baxi Assure System 2.

Good video. The kit is useful, however I find it does make the pipework closer to the wall than regular pipe clips making soldering or compression connection a little difficult given the limited space behind the appliance. I favour a Jig installation kit that can be piped to the plumbing system prior to hanging the boiler which saves working around the installed appliance.

Ive a ignition lock out problem with a Baxi 600, which is a couple of years old, and has dont it from day one. (I didnt install it). And its a very very weird on. It keeps getting air in the has pipe, TT is fine, no other gas appliances in the house, no one is messing the meter. One first visit, i purged via the test point on the gas tap under the boiler, definitely an air + gas mix. But i just cant understand how the air is getting in there. Ive rand Baxi and Gas Safe, its an absolute mystery.
