I have a 2014 Insignia OPC/VXR and a did everything that you did but my camera doesn't work. They told me that I have to programming my system to recognised my camera. I don't understand why is your camera is working and mine is not?
That is a good question. Maybe his HMI already had camera feature unlocked. But usually HMI has to be programed in order to recognize camera. But generally I would like to get answer on this question also.

There is no red wire cutted from cable,can see in video 00:22.This kit is modifed for insignia included black wires one is earth and second in reverse light,
