@modernbuilds I am a flooring guy by trade, been installing lvp, laminate, and hardwood for 5 years now and currently own my own flooring company. The reason why those planks were chipping with that block is because when installing backwards that side that clicks in is more fragile and is lifted off the ground compared to the other side of the plank. When I install backwards I use a scrap piece of flooring, lock it in place, and hit the scrap piece that way it wont chip or break the full piece, or i use a bigger rubber mallet and ditch the block altogether. Hope that helps!
More vinyl installation content is coming this week! Thanks for the advice in the comments in the last one, let's make a good learning resource in this comment section also! Last thing; I'll have the glitchy frames figured out by next vid!!
I enjoy teasing your daughter, why are you deleting my messages? what are you afraid of? I want to tell your friends that you are extorting girls and taking money from people to build houses. You should not be afraid, you like money very much. 😹😹😹😹
If Matthew were alive, I would stab you To know how stupid his brother was when he was with his love He betrayed and ran away with me. It's a pity that your love chose you. You deserve nothing, you are unclean, you will always be a traitor like me, but a fool and a wish will always be by your side, this is also a dream. Even though you hurt her so much, she still loves you like a psychopath. You are still worse than him, you are very lazy and self-righteous. You will be alone forever, I can see that your life is full of blackness and sadness like your love, and you will always cry for distance, as you betrayed me and him, donkey. You are a devil worshiper😹

Ive been installing, sanding, staining finishing wood floors for 5 years now. The original wood floor can be repaired relatively easily and as long as the ware layer is still thick enough you could sand the floor no problem. But it isn't as cost effective, and time efficient as the floating floor.
is there a video that shows how you install the baseboards on top? i'm using this as a guide and wanted to know whats the process for doing so, thanks for the videos
Depends on the size of the flooring you are laying. Once you get over a certain square footage you may need an expansion joint but that is normally for a very large area
Exactly my thoughts, too. He'll rent the house out (or sells it) so he doesn't really care. That's exactly why I would never buy a house that an investor flipped!
My guess why that block was breaking the edges was because when you hit that block against the side, its not perfectly parallel, so a small section of the edge takes the initial impact whereas with the traditional method, you already have it lined up parallel in place before the impact with the hammer.
I've only done a couple of plank installs, but there are a few things missing here. why arent you using a subflooring foam mat to add some cushioning to your floor, it saves your feet as it reduces the hardness of the floor and also means you are less likely to have breakages when items fall on it. Also why arent you cutting one end to size then starting the next row with what's left over, it helps you stagger it well and less waste!
That tapping block works great, but you're using it wrong. You want to always maintain contact with he plank and pivot one side out like a hinge and then side it back in hard. You don't want to slide the whole block out and then whack it back in. The hinge technique assures that the impact to the plank happens across the whole side of the block and not just one corner. Also, if that old wood floor is on a slab you might get some moisture build up in it. I haven't seen an LVP that can go on top of wood that is on top of concrete. You're good if it's a pier and beam foundation.
So, I get this is a modern builds channel, but my oh my are you doing those beautiful floors a disservice. At the very least clean them up before putting on some kind of barrier between it and the new stuff. Cheap work, man.
It is a horrible idea to lay lvp over them real hardwood floors, if you have any moisture issues under the house you will know soon enough!!!! I’ve seen it happen a couple times the moisture will transfer through the hardwood but not the lvp and will cause the hardwood boards to Bo up like a Halloween cat , I’ve seen cases where the hardwood had bust through the lvp and be sticking up over 12 inches
His cousin said that he was still alone. And he can no longer trust anyone and is worried about him. He said that it is not the dream's right to be alone😹😹😹
D.m: We are the cause of this He looks happy. And sprinkled inside. And we did, you and I You and I destroyed a life She could be the happiest girl like she was when she was single, but you destroyed her You destroyed him, you are a sinner
Why would you cover up those beautiful wood floors? It would be cheaper to rent a sander and refinish the floors. Vynal flooring is crap, too easily scratched, not easily repaired.
