I do these all the time, what I found easy when taken the driveshafts out put a screw driver in between the vented break disc it locks up the shaft against the brake caliper.
Yeaaaaah, I won't be doing all that. I draw the line at suspension work. Anything more arduous than that and I'll happily throw money at someone to do the work for me. That said, glad you made a video for those willing to do it!
You have to be extra careful leaving the trans hang on the spline. Apprently they are weaker than an mk4. So installing the trans becomes a headace die to the fact you need to get the trans in a single try...lol
When you said make sure to preload the clutch; what is that referring to? Im doing mine in a week, and have never done a clutch, so im trying to learn everything i can beforehand.
