I would suggest reversing them inside out and ironing them like that, you dont have to worry about shiny stuff at all. My dad thought me this and my pants always look fresh.
Dear Awilunga: Do you intend to marry him in the future? A good idea is to communicate, and throw into the conversations, necessary things you can and cannot do, but are willing to learn and make sacrifices. Ask him how he feels about preparing comestibles, etc., and of course, vice versa.
My buddy just asked me to iron his pants for church threw me a few bucks I haven't done it in years so wanted to make sure I was going to get it right for each fabric it was a good refresher thanks guys here's to my future laundry business!
This is a very naive question but I really need an answer Are the creases supposed to be on both the front and the back of the trouser? Or is the crease only on the front side of the trouser
Love this video. I am doing a tutorial on ironing, to help encourage parents to teach their children fundamental life/home skills at an earlier age that 18. Can I post this video on my site?
Real talk. The pants already look ironed. What do you do about jeans and khakis that are severely wrinkled. I haven't used proper technique but you'd figure as long as your creases line up and you run the iron the steam will do its job. My pants are still wrinkled heavily.
Seriously though. These pants you're ironing aren't even wrinkled so how the hell do you see the results of your work. There are no wrinkles in the center the pant legs. What exactly are you ironing out. There's a 'good' example with khakis but again I'm just moderately annoying that I'm doing the same thing. Pants are still wrinkled
I’m a 33 year old woman still desperately looking for a hack to press my husband’s damn near impossible to iron in a reasonable amount of time Dickie’s duckcloth pants. How ‘bout a video on that, Art of Manliness? I feel like that’s a pretty manly clothing item to teach folks. They crease SO badly in the dryer that they’re impossible to hang neatly straight from the dryer, and near impossible to iron either dress (crease, my preferred method) or casual (flat front) method! Anyone got a hack for these puppies? I’d love to hear it, for sure!
I looked this up because I have never iron anything. My family makes the maid do everything. And I have decieced to take things into my own hands and learn.
YES! This was so helpful, and actually showed me how to put them in place and set the creases. So many videos skip that and start with perfectly folded pants and some bitch running an iron over them. What if there are barely any creases for me to go off of, how do I fold them, etc. Those videos suck. Thank you for this
My mom doesn't do this. It's much faster and efficient; the way she does it, and my pants always look nice. I'm 17 and my mom just likes to iron for me. For all the trolls, the last sentence was for you.
Save yourself all these by investing in a wrinkle free pant and put it in a laundry mesh and wash at gentle setting. There's no code faster than no code. No need to invest new problems to solve.
