Did this for like 2 or 3 months everyday i can dunk now😁 thank you for uploading this this is very help full for sports specially basketball & volleyball thank you😄😄🇵🇭
Coming from a grown ass man ignore these kids. Thank you very much for these exercises. I'm having a hard time dunking off my left foot after a few rolled ankles over the years. These have really helped me get that explosiveness back in my left (dominant) leg.
wow, your training is awesome. I've been doing it for 2 days, then I let my legs rest. Just today(which was 4 days since I saw this video), after my normal routine work out(not ankle, the whole leg), I jumped to test my height, and I jumped 1-1.5 inches higher. Thank you so much!
This is my technique for jumping for years. It is more effective on the edge of steps etc. I use to have a 58" vertical on the court. Now i train my guys with similar things you are doing here. nice. Keep up the good work.
Hey, that's incredible how it makes my calves burn fast! Just a few movment during the video and I ever feel it. Others techniques demand more minutes of training to make my calves burn like that! So thank you very much! Great tip!
What you call "second position" is first in classical ballet. The wider stance is second. And your feet should be turned out in all positions. Also, classical style demands demi plie when you land after a jump("saute" in ballet parlance). Thanks for bringing classical technique to martial artists, though. :) It's helped me a lot in martial training the last few years.
This is so true! Ballet really trains your feet strength and proprioception. I am a ballet teacher and so happy that you noticed the benefit of ballet. :)
started to watch this and I already saw the ultimate beginners guide I appreciate that you are teaching parkour I hope that with these I can master parkour. thanks a lot bro
Try tilting your feet inward and put most of the force on the thumb side of the ball of the foot. Often times I click and pop because my feet are tilted outwards (I have bowlegs). Wearing an ankle support sock also helps I guess because it holds the joint and tendons together so it doesn't jump around when you move. Take it with a grain of salt. Everyone is different. Thats my take.
If you want explosiveness, work on fast twitch muscles, he is working on slow twitch muscles. Jump rope, jump soles help explosiveness. Tho his exercises are beneficial either way
Good vid. You were doing this but tell them to make sure to land with the heel down and not just on the toes for it can cause knee injury and other things.
+TappBrothersalso something i found that helps is to hop foreword on 1 foot and slowly increes the speed and distnc you hop alternating between feet every 30 to 60 seconds it works verey well
Hey! I've been watching your videos for a little bit now! Love them! They are making me want to start working out more and actually start learning parkour! But I'm a beginner that is kinda out of shape and so I need to build up my strength and core first, and what's great is I want to drag, I mean invite, my best friend to do this with me! Do you have a good video that is just basic strength and core training to prepare us for learning basics parkour, flips, and handstands and such? Thanks so much!! Keep doin what you're doin!!
Thanks for the tip. I recently got on the basketball team and im like the tallest one on the team. im 5,12 almost 6 feet and cant jump high cause i have no hops. Im also trying to dunk so this video helped me alot. thanks again👍👍
Tapp Brothers you guys should do something like you did with the flexability video, where we can purchase something some guide from you and part of it will go to the donation to Aaron Paul as well. I think this could incourage more people to purchase and donate (obviously on top of the standart donation option) Thank you!
Really good tip so thanks but my problem is I can do back flips on crash matts and that is harder than on ground because you sink into it but I would really like a tutorial that would tell me how to overcome my fear of backflips as I feel more vulnerable as it is going backwards. Thanks :D
I actually like this guy, however even i know this is some effective tips, i still find the idea combining ballet and jump very funny(in a good way). Most likely because ballet and dance were linked to soft and peace most of the time(i know they can be powerful as well) and jumping in sports were more aggressive. As a result when he demonstrates the steps, there was some funny contrast in my head.
