Thank you for this! I think my newest fig tree might need to get moved from the Northeast corner of my house. Perhaps she would be happier in a South facing window!

I loved it! I'm still a beginner and lighting was something that was hard to figure out! I mostly just moved different plants around until I found a spot that worked for them. Oh well! I'll keep in mind the directions thing! And I'll start keeping my succulents on my windowsill :)

judahachenry it’s all about trial and error! You’ve got it. But yes. Succulents need allll the light. :)

Hi Rosetta, this video was the most helpful lighting video Ive seen. Thank you for sharing. I live in Australia ( I think we fall in the southern hemisphere?) Does that mean I need to do the opposite of what you said? I'm not completely sure and would love your advice. Thank you again!

Some of my succulents have got so leggy! They are on a west facing window.
@rosettagrows3315
@rosettagrows3315 4 года назад
Jenny Owens Photography same. Most succulents need that South window sun - the most sun throughout the day. I think leggy succulents are still cute though! Do you have a South window you could put them in?
@JennyOwensPhotography
@JennyOwensPhotography 4 года назад
@@rosettagrows3315 now that you've said they look cute - I can see that now! Yes we do have a South facing window but unfortunately it still only gets medium amount of sun as we have a row of trees directly infront of them. I think I'll move them this winter though as it still is more sun than the west facing one. Thank you!
@rosettagrows3315

I dont like my neighbors and dont want them to see inside my house. So I close my curtains all the time. But I have a lot of candles. Does that help my plants keep growing? If not this is going to suck... because I want to move into an underground home to get away from everything.
@rosettagrows3315
@rosettagrows3315 4 года назад
Sean Henry it’s definitely not going to work in the long term. Maybe you could grow some beautiful foliage outside to block the window OR get a bunch of hanging plants that can act as living curtains. Do you think that would work for you?
