If you switch around the wires that plug into the tag lights, you will pop the parking light fuse the instant you turn on your headlights or parking lights. The ground pin (which takes a brown wire) will have electrical continuity with one of the screw holes. It can provide a secondary ground path through the mounting screw, the metal frame inside the bumper top, through the bumper itself, through the bumper mounting bolts, to the chassis. Don't ask how I know this.
There's clearly a drop of water that falls off at 12:41-12:42 after the big bang. While that's just one drop, if it rains for hours, that will be many drops.

I noticed that, even with the rain tray, it still looks like some water can get into the engine bay; near the vents on the outside edges of the engine lid. If I’m right, how much water gets in?
I can’t remember if it’s solid under that side mesh or not, but I’ve never had water getting in there. On the drivers side the relay board is right there, so I can’t imagine it gets in without being given a runoff path. Most guys I’ve talked to said they leaked when new!!
@@barefootgaragejax9252 There are 2 oblong shaped vent holes on each side of the engine lid. They're open to the outside and don't have rain trays. The relay board has a cover; but I don't know how well it keeps water off of the relays. Maybe VW/Porsche figured that water wouldn't get in through said holes while the car is at speed. IDK.
