Words can hardly express just how much I appreciate you sharing this topic Sixty Formula, true to your word, keeping your dogs cool in the summer is very important. It was so kind of your good friend Kassty to send you the water fountain for Hila and Brittany Spears wasn’t it. Bless you for sharing ways on how to keep your dogs cool too, I really appreciate you doing that. I’ve got another thing too, while keeping your dogs cool in the hot weather by giving them water and putting on the air conditioning and that, you ought to feel their foreheads too because heat can sometimes make them feel queasy. For sharing this topic, I thank you from the bottom of my heart Sixty Formula Peace ✌️
Love your videos dude! Got 2 Huskies myself and I've found that wetting any concrete in the garden, especially in the shade if possible, creates a good spot for them to lay and stay cool.
Awesome And Yes My HuskySon 🐺Loves To Drink Out Of The Tub Faucet!!!so definitely looking into this fountain*As Always Great Training Video!!!#HuskyLife 💪🏾🐺❤️#KeepDoinYourThing 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I kept the hose outside for my oldest Husky…she ate it…actually, she just chewed holes in it. She had a water bowl full of fresh water but it looked like fun. 🫣🤦🏼♀️🤷♀️
i have a shepsky (a mix breed of a sheperd and a husky) even though he isnt full blood, your videos helps me help the dog out a bit. thanks for your videos, even if its just for huskies, it can be useful for other dogs aswell. Though i do have 2 small questions. how do you stop toy aggression, and how do you stop your dog form having the zoomies after a walk.
Hi @Sixty Formula, I really want to get a Siberian husky, but I live in Carlsbad. Do you any good places that I can go and get one. If you do, can you respond. Thank you so much.
Advice to those sickly, anemic or hypothyroid people who like to keep your thermostat on 78-80 degrees and enjoy being outside in 100 degree heat: the husky dog is not the dog for you!
Hi I'm new to your channel and I'm a rookie who just bought me aSibearean Husky she is 9 months old and I'm so glad for your videos you give me lots of info I guess I'll switch to the harness instead of the collar but how do you know what size they wear some look big some look small
My husky still thinks she'll be able to catch a rabbit lol. I keep ice in their bowls,a.c on nice and cold, puppy pool. She even gets a fan on her when she's extra hot lol. Super spoiled dogs love here.
What if you have no power because of storms and your water source is a well? It's day 7 in east Texas tomorrow is storms and we don't have normal rain it comes down like a warm shower. East Texas sucks right now.
Wait a minute Are you letting them swallow the cardboard? I see your pup back there chewing enjoying that but what about swallowing it that's not going to be good for the digestion tract it's cardboard that's very thick too. 😢
My husky prefers cool water over cold for drinking. And he loves running and jumping to catch the spray from the garden hose. Hates water on his body though lol
About the hose careful weting down a hot dog. The temperature change can cause a dog to convince. ☹️ Sadly more than sadly I really can't express in words but I saw this happen to my neighbor's dog They took the hose and put the outside faucet water on their dog and it was too cold . The dog was too hot , and it was very sad no words just so sad the poor pup dog
I got my Siberian Husky at 2 months and got her a kitty pool at 3 she was terrified of it but we kept cycling the water so she has something out there just incase and now she has little rampages in the kitty pool (5 months old) cant even water plants without her freaking out over the water
Would like to know your advice/thoughts on pools or do you have a video already that I can't find. My Siberian/Malamute/Akita mix loves the 'people pool' and could care less about the 'dogs' pool. Besides the cleaning of massive amounts of hair in the filter, what about the chlorine/chemicals?
We will eventually come out with a pool video! Be sure to subscribe if you aren’t already so you don’t miss any episodes and we will be sure to a pool episode out! Good recommendation!
I so missed seeing you guys period thank you. I actually recently saw a plastic thing that you fill with water That you can lay on the ground inside and out period curious which your thoughts are on those.
We have one of those! Kiddie pools are great, they're just messy in my experience. Most people don't empty them after they use them and then they quickly fill with bacteria and foliage. But yes, they're great for hot days!
I was thinking maybe you can go to your butcher or a grocery store at the meat aisle and buy some bones bring them home and baste or boil them slightly it would be good for the Huskies to chew on bones I get spare ribs beef , and sometimes bigger bones I put them in hot water to take the edge off (rawness). They have a great urge a need to bite down, gnaw on a bone they need to gnaw ... Beef liver chicken hearts and gizzards are cheap and a little container is only a little over a dollar that's a better price than the pet store items and healthier Same process take the edge off in some hot water and add some to their food internal organs are rich and nutritional protein... Your dogs are beautiful gorgeous.
Cooked bones are actually not too good for Siberian huskies. If you’re going to give them bones at all - make sure they aren’t cooked. Cooked bones cause splinters.
@@SixtyFormula Yes that's what they say and I take a look at the bones after they've been chewing them. Not a problem. I throw out any little pieces but they've known instinctively. Not all dogs will do that I guess so you do have to be careful. One thing is positive is that picking up sticks from outside etc .... I personally feel they can choke or their intestines. .... Yet I never see any dogs choking and I see them doing it everywhere,,,, sticks can splinter 🤔 Anyway I meant take the edge off just quickly changing the blood factor you don't have to have a long rolling boil. Bones are good and opinionally necessary 👍
my air vents are in the floor of my house, so during the summer my husky hears the air turn on and immediately goes and lays on the vents. She has done that since she was a puppy
The summer heat is one of my BIGGEST concerns with having a Husky during the hot, blazing days in St. L. 1) I walk him EARLY in the morning BEFORE the mercury soars. 2) I keep him INSIDE in the a/c MOST of the day. 3) When he needs to go out, I walk him in the shade for only 5 min. or less 4) I put ice cubes in his drinking water 5) Outdoors I provide him with a puppy pool filled w/ cool water. Before the end of summer, I'm going to SPLURGE & fill his pool w/ ice. If I had the means, I would do this CONSTANTLY during the summer. Not moving to Canada, so I have to adapt to serve HIS needs. He deserves ALL of this. 💘 Maxx, my heart!
6 ft is nothing for a husky, im from sweden so we dont have same system. But my male husky can whit no problem jump and scale my 180cm fence. Nor i have added a part that leans in to they yard so he cant climb out over the top but drops down again.
Beautiful doggos and another great episode! Thanks for all the tips. I'm still waiting to get my own Husky - but I'll be keeping the freezer full of ice for those hot summer days down under :)
