Exactly Tony. When I was doing Prison Ministry, many of those women were in jail because they were with the wrong guy. Therapy is so important, so many women don’t know themselves, their worth, many do not know how to choose the right man based on good character and righteousness. Emotional immaturity, I had to heal and grow. Therapy helped me. Ladies, many of us were not taught how to choose a good man. We saw dysfunctional relationships and we need help. There are coaches, good books, videos, and the Bible helps us grow too. Prayer helps.

@@nancybuchanan9552 Hi, different reasons, but some were with drug dealers or doing crimes, knowingly and unknowingly, some were manipulated by their partners and attacked someone, some were with their partners when they got caught, some were blamed for their partnrers crimes or chose to take the sentence. Many were just settling for a man that were doing wrongful things and not thinking about the consequences. I learned the importance of taking responsibility for my choices especially my relationships or who can be in my circle. We as women must learn to trust our intuition again.
When I met my current boyfriend I honestly was not attracted to him so I step out of my comfort zone and gave him chance….I noticed that 6 months in He was just so sexy and good looking to me….He shy and timid but a wonderful man he gives me TIME and TIME again…
Same here !! I started to listen to stony Gaskins before I met my Fiancé and I applied everything he taught me into this relationship and WOW!! I have never been happier. I gave the shy timid man a chance and stopped going after grown boys. Blessings for you!

Listen to Tony ladies! I thought I did everything right. He was the sound man at church, we waited until married to have sex, but I ignored the red flags. He lacked stability, integrity & character. I thought it was God. I thought I could change him. I was wrong. I spent 9 years in confusion and chaos. He was addicted to pornography, mean, emotionally abusive & abandoned us every time things got hard. I’m free now, but I have to co-parent with him the rest of my kids life. Hard lesson, but I learned.
Congrats on being able to move on. But thank you for highlighting that this man was in the church. We, as women definitely have to vet these men and pay attention to the signs, especially with the ones in the church, on your job, etc. Watch a person's ACTIONS & HIS CHARACTER. I think once women unlearn the desire to be a "fixer" and let go of the "good woman ego syndrome" that says that being a good woman exempts you from trash men not wanting a relationship, dating life would be a breeze.
Wow this is deep. “If you can’t see your son being like the man you are dating then you need to stop seeing that man”. I had to end relationships real quick with men that curse at me, overly aggressive, always in the club, and doing drugs(especially since I’m in recovery) . My children future matters to me and what they are exposed to.

Tony, everything you describe in a man is what I just had to walk away from. The verbal abuse was horrible. Sometimes the men we want the most is the one's we need to be running from.

I shared one of Tony's videos with a woman who was in a long distance situationship several months ago. We clicked but then she became radio silent and I have a gut sense it was because she became offended by the truth. Its great to see Tony address this is a regular thing that happens when we try to help others and not to fear sharing the truth with others! Here I was concerned it wasn't in my place to share that video with her, now I know that sometimes we have to be OK with offending others.
I am shouting on that Outtro!!! Even though I did not peoperly vet n therfore was a SM, I sacrificed to be at every game, every school event, evrything my son had and I got so much pushback from my mother. She didnt understand because she wasnt there for me n sisters for our activities. It was lonely as a child to not be nurtured by my mother. I vowed to be there there for my children, but only had 1 to not make that mistake again. Thank you for this video. Just shared with my son.

Thanks, Tony, great video I’m 23 not been in a relationship etc so your videos from a Godly standpoint too is great I’ve learnt a lot so I can avoid a lot of mess (I’m from a single-parent household so I’ve learnt a lot from my mum too but not everything) when it comes to dating/relationships. Communication, emotional intelligence, intention, morals, values, integrity and more are so so important! Man I love these videos! It's 12am here lol. I whole heartily agree!! I don't have any children, and sometimes people tell me I'm super picky when it comes to these men. 🤦🏽♀️ But people just don't know when I vet a man I'm also thinking about my future children. I want a husband for me, and a true father for my kid/s. I'm not a smoker, drinker, or clubber. I'm an corporate worker and an entrepreneur. I'm not perfect by any means, but I need someone to match my energy. I did the clubbing in my 20s but still went to work the next morning. 🤣 Change and growth is real. I now realize where my immaturity was then as woman. I'm currently looking at a man and comparing him from our 20s to him today in our 30s. I often smile at his growth and his level up. He is an emmaculate father, son, worker and business owner today.🙌🏽

I’m so paranoid from past relationships. I set a boundary with the person I’m with and let him know that I need time to myself with God. I’ve seen anger in his eyes and that’s something that scares me along with the mirroring. He keeps doing stuff like this so I’ll stay with him I’m not stupid. 🤷♀️ It’s very uncomfortable though and I’m even questioning his church. I need to know that I’m safe with the person and I want to be safe also. The man I am with doesn’t do anything bad like this but I think because people have left him in his life he doesn’t want me to leave him also and that’s scary for me. This is why woman and men need their own lives and I’m trying to find my own life.

Tony's right. We got *-matized and slept with them that's how we got caught up I am in this boat now and trying to jump ship. Idk where the godly men are but it's time for me to love myself. I got into my marriage vowing the be a hundred percent faithful but I doubt my estranged husband meant the same and seemed to have ulterior motives.
