Hi there, Dr Berg revealed on his channel that a potassium deficiency can’t be diagnosed by ordinary blood tests as potassium is concentrated in the cells, where its main functioning takes place (together with Magnesium, as an antagonist to sodium, and in this being significant for the mitochondria) The potassium levels and if they are good can be only checked by more elaborate tests, which normally aren’t made. That’s why potassium deficiency mostly is undetected. That’s about how I recall the lecture. : )

@@LovelessHealthSolutions Thank You for this. I’ve noticed for the last few days, I’ve had lower lip twitching. It twitches in a certain spot all throughout the day. I’ve been trying to research to see what could be causing the twitching, and I read it could be caused by many things such as drinking too much coffee (which I do), potassium deficiency, stress, etc.

When I went first time to ER with my symptoms (not really emergency but I felt my own doctor was failing me) first thing they did was bloodtesting my electrolytes. They were all in range so they dismissed me. They couldnt catch my arrhytmia on the 3 ecg they took, but put me on the waitinglist for a 24h heart monitor. Up until today they havent called me, its already 8 months later. They dont take me serious, and I wonder how many people do actualy die for being unable to be diagnose low potassium??? I have lived with the fear to die for over 2 years, when I feel a fatigue coming up I really face death in the eye it is so scary, I literally have been on the edge. I now eat extra potassium rich food and take magnesium alongside quality electrolyte mix, and I feel much better. Still had such fatigue attack last night but the fear to die isnt attached anymore.

Start with magnesium in an electrolyte drink then start adding potassium to your food potassium will prioritize over magnesium if taken together and be flushed in your pee and if your magnesium is low it will prevent potassium from being absorbed so get your magnesium levels fixed first and then start adding potassium to your food separately

I've been doing my research on this lately because I don't feel quite right. My ears ring, my toes cramp at night, when I get stressed my heart palpitates randomly, I've been having dry mouth and throat. I've been taking high does of vitamin D that my doc prescribed since i live in alaska and a woman my D levels were low. From what I've read, taking once a week high doses of D can deplete your magnesium levels. I also have issues with my tongue which is also a sign of low potassium. So I think my magnesium is low and isn't absorbing potassium like it should. Plus I haven't been eating like I should. I'm going in this week to get my levels checked.

My folate was low and after trying folic acid found out folic acid is problematic. My levels went extreme high, tried every other day still really high. Read up on MTHFR gene resorted to methylfolate which is a more bio available vit B9 and it fixed my issue.

Amount is so low because it can be dangerous to supplement potassium, you really need advise from a knowledgable doctor if you want to take higher doses as it can be lethal in some cases. Dont take high doses all out of the blue, build it up carefuly to not shock your kidneys. Potassium is the key to your heart beating or not.

@@AnnaMaria-zm8cv it is not dangerous to supplement with potassium. It’s actually necessary as everyone is deficient. It can be dangerous to some individuals who have kidney conditions who cannot eliminate excess potassium. This can lead to hyperkemia which is potentially deadly.
