I definitely experienced the math struggle with my daughter our first year of homeschool. When you find something that works, you realize the difference between doing hard things and even that productive struggle versus frustration and overwhelm…there is a big difference. My daughter says that math is her favorite subject now🥰 Thank you for your video! Definitely good things to keep in mind with math!
We really struggled this year with finding a math that we enjoyed. Also something that my kids actually learned from. My oldest ended up going to Teaching Textbooks and love it. Surprisingly, my 2 youngest are doing Hooked on Math. It goes through 2nd grade now, and then they will go to TT as well.
We switched my oldest to teaching textbooks last year and he has been loving it!!! My middle is starting Kindergarten in the fall and she is so mad that she can't do teaching textbooks yet like her brother. 😂
Perfect timing! I'm trying to decide on a math curriculum. We have been doing saxon for the last 2 years but my daughter is not enjoying it at all. I've considered cle or teaching textbooks but I'm not sure what to do! My husband wants our children to have a really strong foundation in math. He uses math constantly in his profession and so he believes it to be really important. I feel alot of pressure to pick the right thing 😮
