This addiction is much more socially acceptable, if you will. This is a part of the problem, IMO.

You have helped me so much. I used to be a shopholic. Recently, I got a new job (yay me). However, my training for this new position was in Beverly Hills, CA. Only about 30 seconds away from Rodeo Drive. I trained at the office for one week, and i think you will be happy to know that the only thing i bought was a Starbucks. Luckily, im done with my training and won't have the Rodeo drive temptation. Also, if you ever come to Los Angeles, we can be friends, and we will not talk about shopping, lol..

I love your videos! I got caught up on Poshmark (second hand market) i def had made purchased out of impulse, especially in auction and end up stuck with pieces i font even use just bc "was a good deal on a LV, a Burberry etc" i definitely put more thought on my actions since i started to follow your channel.

I think we all go through this phase impulse shopping or an addiction. I did have my phase too (not in designer items) and now every time, I am asking myself if I needed it. So the majority of the time, I do not pull the trigger. The items I decide to buy (e.g. special orchid) are really wanted and though thought or really needed.

A cool little mindfulness book called 30 Days to Stop Being a Shopaholic by Harper Daniels helped me a bit. It helps to detach from things.

I would love to see a gratitude journal ! like prompts like the last one. I'm struggling a bit at the moment with accepting that I dont dip into my savings to buy whatever I want anymore. Like the act of not giving into temptation I guess. Im speding a manageable/sustainable amount atm on my waredrobe. Did the budget sheet you linked a while ago and am a bit baffled at how/why I feel deprevied. LOL hope that makes sense. I'm still living at home, so I'm saving for a home deposit/appartment. Its going well and I'm on track to hit my goal by the end of the year :)

Thankyou so much for this suggestion Sarah I too was considering a gratitude journal of some kind ❤️ I think it’s good you do the budget planner and if you feel all that is in check maybe the deprivation you feel is coming from an internal source like it was for me? Just something to ponder You know yourself better than I do though of course xx
