Hi everyone, in this video I try to explain some quick ways on how to know what color of fruit your dragon fruit plant will give you in the future, and also some key ways to find differences between different kinds of species.
Interesting, I've never heard of Israel or Australian Palora, but I know for sure that Colombiana is a separate variety of S. megalanthus. Colombiana is generally more oblong than Palora and take such longer to ripen
Good question! My plants only average about 1.5 years old, and unfortunately most require cross-pollination, so no fruits this year haha. But just wait until next spring!
@@cactiman3282 ,my two variety (magenta/white flesh) of dragonfruit plants in my area have fruited three to four times this year, that's why i question you video ,ha?.
I counted 231 times you said “Right?”. This is a dragonfruit, right? This has waves, right? This one is wide, right? 😂😂😂 I guess you don’t notice how many times you say right?
Was it actually that much? 😅 That was something I hoped people didn't notice, but I'm well aware hahaha. Hopefully with more practice on making videos I stop saying those filler phrases 🤣
False information. All my dragon fruit variety have stems of different shapes and color. Every new growth looks different from the last. Some super straight and some really curvy with spikes at different location on the same variety.
I'm sorry, that this video didn't help you out. I tried to give a tip that was as general as possible in order to help people know what they're buying or know what to expect. I may make a future video elaborating on some of my points made!
