Hey guys, thank you so much for creating this space for me to express my thoughts in this way. I wasn’t sure if you would like the talking part, I love you 🥲🤍 I worked on a new creation pack: it includes a 130 minute detailed painting demo with voiceover and live commentary, where I explain what I‘m exactly doing to create this painting. It’s filmed like my RU-vid Videos, multiple angles in a comfortable environment! 🍵🎨 There are also Tutorial Sheets included, where I show you how I work with my reference, which compositional rules I followed, a step by step guide on how to paint glowing objects and much more. Check it out on www.patreon.com/valerielin to support my work It’s available at a discount price till the end of this month 💫 It will be gone from Patreon and available at a higher price on my website. Still working on it :) 🔧✨

Wow, you are too beautiful whomever sees you shall believe that God is real, and whenever I see you I am always in a dream, and when we wake up we all will realize that all this life was nothing but a dream and that only God is whats true and real. I dont know how can atheists believe that such a beauty queen came from monkeys hahaha 😄 عن الإمام علي "عليه السلام": عَجِبتُ لمن شك في الله، وهو يرى خلق الله Imam Ali, peace be upon him, said: I wonder at the man-man/women-who doubts in the existence of God-Allah-although he sees His creation. وعن الإمام علي "عليه السلام": عَجِبتُ لمن أنكر النشأة الأخرى، وهو يرى النشأة الأولى Imam Ali, peace be upon him, said: I wonder at him who denies the second life although he has seen the first life-this life is a living proof of both the existence of its creator as well as a clear proof that indicates that another life in heaven or hell may also be a possible chance as well-. وعن الإمام علي "عليه السلام": عَجِبتُ لعامر دار الفناء، وتارك دار البقاء Imam Ali, peace be upon him, said: I wonder at him who inhabits this transient abode-and is so indulged in it-but ignores the everlasting abode, ru-vid.com/group/PLFP6dYI5m3l9nRCG_REpQxQ46fCXAy3Aj There was a teacher whom didn't believe in existence of God, He said to his students do you see God?, the students replied no we don't see God, so the teacher said if you don't see God it means there is no God, then a smart student stood up and said to the other students hey guys do you see the teachers brain?, then the students replied no we don't see the teachers brain, the student then said then the teacher is crazy he got no brain :0) these verses of the bible they are exactly like quran and Islamic belief-although like other muslims I dont realy believe that all verses of todays bible are really from the original bible which was revealed to Jesus(peace be upon him and upon his great pure and very pious noble Mother)-. The verses are about God the-almighty-creator!..its so similar to Islamic beliefs! thats why I like it: 1.God Is One! - Deut. 6:4; 1 Cor. 8:4 yeah, one God for all of us. God is God and is one-not three..nor two nor billion- 2.God Is Truth! -Psalm 117:2; Jer. 10:10 3.God is Light-Surely not the physical light..not the photons meant here I think, God however is the source of the existence of knowledge and wisdom, and you know that wisdom and knowledge are both like light..but for our brains..true? :O) - 1 John 1:5 4.God Is Infinite - Jer. 23:24; Psalm 147:5 5.God is All Knowing.. - 1 John 3:20 6.God is Everywhere-but in a different way though..I mean, God is not a thing confined within limits of dimensions- Psalm 139:7-12 7.God is All Powerful - Jer. 32:17,27 8.God is Unequaled - Isaiah 40:13-25 9.God Is Perfect - 1 Kings 8:27; Psalm 139 10.God Is Most Wise - Rom. 16:27; Jude 1:25 11.God Is Most Holy - Isaiah 6:3; Rev. 4:8 12.God Is Most Free - Psalm 115:3 13.God Is Most Absolute - Isaiah 44:6; Acts 17:24-25 14.God Is Without Limit - 1 Kings 8:27; Jer. 23:23-24 15.God Is Eternal - Psalm 90:2; 1 Tim. 1:17 16.God Is Incomprehensible - Rom. 11:33; Psalm 145:3 17.God Is The Almighty One - Rev. 1:8; Rev. 4:8 18.God Is Gracious - Exodus 33:19; 1 Pet. 2:3 19.God Is Merciful - Exodus 34:6; Psalm 67:1; James 5:11 20.God Abounds In Goodness - Psalm 31:19; Psalm 52:1; Rom. 11:22 21.God Is Forgiving - Dan. 9:9; Eph. 1:7; Psalm 86:5 22.God Rewards Those Who Seek Him - Heb. 11:6 23.God Is Just In All His Judgments - Neh. 9:32-33; 2 Thess. 1:6 24.God Hates Sin - Psalm 5:5-6; Hab. 1:13 25.God Is the Creator - Isaiah 40:12,22,26 26.God Is Shepherd - Gen. 49:24 27.God Does Not Have A Human Body - Luke 24:39; Deut. 4:15-16 28.God Does Not Change - Num. 23:19; Mal. 3:6; James 1:17 29.God Is Without Limit - 1 Kings 8:27; Jer. 23:23-24 30.God Is Incomprehensible - Rom. 11:33; Psalm 145:3, and is greater than to be described or imagined do good to others and decrease your sins and be closer to God, thats the best thing any person can ever do in life. You never know if there's someone else in your small town thinking the same thing. They could be much older or younger than you as well, so don't discredit people for their age. You'll find someone at some point. I grew up in a small place as well, and eventually did move and found my philosophical friends IRL :)

This is so philosophical. I think the emotion you are trying to evoke with the whole dystopia/utopia is similar to the story of “Don’t Look Up” and “Nope”. It’s a very humanistic way of looking at ourselves as people. Anyway, I’m getting a kalimba too because I’m also obsessed with Avatar’s Love. ❤

Proud of you Valerie! ❤️ I had a conversation with someone a few days ago and they told me the importance of knowing your why. I relate to this feeling you had of asking yourself why you're creating art and not really coming up with a "good" reason and it felt strange realising I never wondered why I create art. After an hour or two I realised my why and it's just three words. art allows growth. Humans are amazing but in my opinion we need the inspiration and motivation to unlock our potential and I feel art does that in all its different forms, be that movies, dance, cooking, writing, music, etc. Art creates for us the opportunity to become better & grow. Hope that makes a bit of sense, thank you for another awesome video and your art is stunning 🖤✨

I'm thinking that artists offer a mirror - they show us parts of ourselves we wouldn't notice or think about otherwise. And through that, we learn more about ourselves, our oppinions, emotions, this reality... Everything. I think artists aren't trying (or supposed) to show us how things are - they offer us the chance to find out for ourselves. It's almost like the art is a portal to a hidden/forgotten place inside our psyche. I've been wondering about the meaning of art as well, this video got me thinking so thank you! I loved the vibes and every single message you shared, you made me feel the sunshine even tho it's a foggy morning here ✨🤍

Hi Ms Valerie. I don't know if you'll see this but I just want you to know how much your videos have enriched my life. It was a major phone addict when I found your channel. I used to lock myself up in my room and stare at my phone screen for hours. I knew I wasn't happy but I couldn't get myself to stop. After finding your videos, I tried to incorporate the lessons you taught into my life and I became so much more mindful of my behaviour. It took me a couple of months but now, I have largely recovered from a year long addiction. Mindfulness has made me happier than ever before and I owe a large part of it to what I have learnt from you. I'm still pretty young so I'm happy to have realized this at a young age. I'm so grateful to the internet as it has allowed me to find you and learn from you even though I live on the other side of the world. I've never commented before but I'm just writing this to say thank you, Ms Valerie for your videos. Thank you so much❤️

I love the pauses and knitted eyebrows while thinking hardly of your deep thoughts. A free flowing words from your mind and definitely love that eureka moment on 15:21 as you stare on us (i know its a camera lense that u see hahaha) but your stare (as if looking straight in our soul) and your expression of realization is so beautiful. Oh my gosh! I have had a very confusing last three days, week actually, and it has tempted me to feel bad. But I don't want to feel bad , and now I have found you. I am struggling hard right now trying not to lose the joy and happiness I find in my creative process because circumstances have led me to a place of comparing myself to others and coming up lacking, of pressure to commercialize and to perform to the expectation of others with a judgement of not meeting the prescribed expectations . I'm not with out skill, I know that, I've invested much time money and effort in skill building but my sensitivity and the thought process and the act of concentration and focus seem like they want to be protected so that my own unique expression or even the spirit coming through can manifest. This is about something within me that wants me to recognize and integrate it , alchemize if you will, as you talk about so wonderfully. A sort of Asperger approach to life, that leaves me stiff and socially awkward, uncomfortable, anxious . I have started to address it in my visual work trying to bring more rhythm, more poetry, more childlike playfulness which I guess makes the work more of a therapy than a commercial venture. So there you have it. I love your emphasis on authenticity and your thought processes and the example you set.

So my answer will be a bit more otherworldly enlightened since I kind of have been visited by "the other side" more times than I'd like to have been. I was told/shown (veil lifted) that the reason "they" say we are between Mars (Wrath/color Red) and Venus (Lust/color Blue) is that is the two sins our kind are charged with, downgraded to half man/half beast after the flood. So this is a test to see if we can rise above our primal nature and be man(kind) again. This is why War and Sex are such driving forces in our way of being. And sure all sins are here, but those two drivers are the focal point of our madness. So life demonstrates this in a coy way, a terrifying way too, to see how we'll react and engage with it. You'll see a lot of the symbolic inferences in things like mermaids and nymphs and vampires and succubus, and people need to understand the root of lust is actually consumption of the flesh which ties to zombies - think of the act of love making and the odd penetration and lip smacking and body tasting - it's why it kind of looks like an assault - also why the most serious of crimes are murder (wrath) and rape (lust). So next time you hear Elon Musk talk about "going to Mars" or some lengthy discussion about the complexities of sexual orientation, just smile with this knowing (think there's even a book, Men are from Mars/Women are from Venus). And there are top level (people?) that know this and do run little psychological operations to see how the public responds/to beg the questions since this is a metaphorical learning environment - you'd be amazed. Like recently there's this Sam (told by god) Bankman-Fried (bank man fried/god will judge with fire) who ran some ponzi esque scheme with crypto and people are demanding justice, but it's an op - it's called a fool and his money are soon parted - that is the justice. The older one was similar - Bernie Madoff (Burnie/God fire) pronounced (Made Off) - aka Burnie made off with your money because a fool and his money are soon parted (when they buy magic beans).

I honestly loved the talking part of this video! To me, art is more about making life tolerable than to make people understand life, but I guess it can have a different meaning for different people, like everything else. In the tv show Shtisel, the character was a painter. His family kept telling him it was wrong to paint so much or be so consumed by it! So who decides video games for 15 hrs is wrong, when others think painting for 15 hrs is wrong! Hm to answer you, why do people strive for a clean kitchens, we can look at it from few perspectives : 1. They have always had seen clean kitchen, I'e experiences. 2. They have never been in a clean kitchen, but have seen it. It's the self learning of what for you is good. I also belive people strive for excellence because, somewhere in us we know we have the capability to achieve it, or I belive it's just the human nature to always strive for something we don't have, it's always a strong desire and kind of longing that keeps us in a constant momentum with life and make it rather not plai, or we can sayto understand and be understood as an individual( I'm so sorry I'm not making sense, it's a 17 yr old trying to communicate with words). This video is going to be one of my favourites, I really enjoyed your philosophical talk, esp the 6 am one and it honestly makes so so much sense. I have always loved seeing Art in general, though I am not good at drawing stuff and painting. it evokes some unexplainable calmness and insightful feeling in me. anyways, I hope you're doing good Valrie, It's finally fall I hope you find the right tone of the skirt, keep your house clean stay warm and healthy^^ Lots of hugs

It was very neat during the part of the video where you were trying to explain why you make art, and you didn’t want to just say what others have said, rather you were looking for a way to articulate your own original and true thought. I struggle with this! Sometimes I feel like Mrs. Who from wrinkle in time, everything I say is just quoted from something I heard or read. And I’m pretty well-read, so I have a lot to draw from. And I don’t just repeat things at random, I do take time to decide if I agree with a thing before absorbing into myself, but… do I have any original thoughts? Or am I just a composite of all the good I’ve read and seen?

I find a lot of the videos you upload to be inspiring, but this video, which too is inspiring, had a different/distinct effect on me. I came away from it feeling like I have listened to a profound friend who has left me in a better state than they had originally found me. Thank you very much for that, and thank you for what you do.

that quote of nikola tesla is in my mind ....think in therms of vibration, frequency and sound .im sure emotions have different frequencies and frequencies are colors ,same as sounds .so this is art ! immagine if someone will finaly put the color range into sound=music .we could hear our own songs in the paintings we create .i think this is future stuff :)))) ....the human being is a made of emotions.without them the mind has no power to create . even science proved it now.late ...but they did it . btw never do something you dont wanna do . when you live alone you have finaly this luxury to relax . if a plate is in the sinc and i dont know a tshirt out of its place ...let it be . deal with those when you feel like ...FREEDOM has its price :)))

I believe the thinking is our struggle to find the space of our true self. Something hidden... something deeply magic. We try to replace it with discipline. To wash our dishes, do chores, cut our addiction to the phone. But as we learn to step into our deep truth of being, discipline has no meaning. We learn to feel, sense. We just know

🐦 the painting is like a mirror to reflect on your feelings. Quite magical in a way how its different for everyone. Why do you paint? Watch florent farges for that!

Idk how you’d take this but have read at tirumanthiram verse anbum sivamum it literally means they who separate god from love are foolish and the saints whi believed in that acted accordingly. Just a thought.

I’m so engaged in the way you talk and let yourself be carried into the flow of a thought. I can’t express it perfectly but I understand so many things you say in this video, not just with your words but with the way you peel tape off the painting, the way colors have to be right, and the way you allow the camera to focus on dust floating in the sun. This makes me feel so inspired and hopeful, watching you talk to the camera with such honest eyes and wonder reminds me why I like thinking about these things as well, and why I love to make art about them. Thank you, you wonderful soul 🤍🪞🕯️🫖

I’ve watched your videos from time to time and was always captivated by how you have such a strong vision of your art and are able to bring it to life, where each stroke is meaningful no matter how small. I now understand more your thought process behind this. You think a lot like me. I am no consistent artist so my topics are different but I always look for deeper meaning within myself, whatever my mind is occupied with. I think you have beautiful perspectives which I wish I could just spawn into my brain somehow. Communicating them is often hard because things like this come in the form of personal feelings rather than understandable words for everyone. But please don’t feel bad for trying to communicate them, because they are so interesting. I also loved the philosophy story and I think I could listen to you all day talking about whatever. Love, Lara

Hola Valerie. Quiero agradecerte por este video, no sabía que lo necesitaba. Definitivamente me quedo con la frase de "our task as an artist is to help people understand the world", me ha cambiado totalmente la perspectiva. Saludos
