- Entering the Matrix and Leaning Back Kicks
- Instinct of the Lean Back
- Instinct to Counter Kick After the Lean Back
Goal: To learn how to lean back when kicks begin to hit your body or head. To add a new drill that will build your lean back technique and reflexes on the heavy bag. To position yourself for a seamless counter at the end of the lean back technique.
Real World Application: Making your opponent miss when they kick at your shoulder or head with the lean back and countering back with the body kick.

Excellent technique breakdown. Have you seen Julio Cesar La Cruz fight? I think he has the best lean back in all of boxing.

Hey man, I guess wrecking ball bags are useful for this as well but would you find it useful for head hunting with kicks/knees?

Yea for sure. I just purchased the super angle bag from Fairtex for the new training studio, it's a good hybrid between an uppercut bag and a banana bag .
