No. that’s for recoil and step through to recoil. your pivot is bad. your balance is in the wrong place also you pivot is in the wrong place. The leap though that he does he has to land flat footed to catch the body weight transfer back to recoil. It’s a good kick. Its weakness is that all of his weight is transferred to two places in the same direction. Easy counter, fallow the landing leg like a matador and fallow up. His hip stops far too early. It’s fast so you have to know what you are looking for in the early movements. But no it’s not more power it’s just effective in that movement. Notice how far he has to step out to land he can’t fallow through unless he knows that you are stationary.
Definitely not supposed to to do so. Hard to say why it’s hurting, could be lots of things. Best is to check with a professional about it. Could be your hip muscles are weak and not supporting well the impact, lack of mobility or another more serious issue. Worth a check
Do a stretch routine at night. Plus step out and turn your hip and shoulder over. If you don’t turn your hip you’ll force yourself to hit the target incorrectly and stain yourself
I love how it shows a legit Muay Thai trainer with over 300 fights in Thailand showing this and people are commenting saying it’s wrong… 😂 too funny And talking about telegraphing? You should never be stationary, the step angles you off the centerline and no they don’t see it if set up/you’re going to step anyway, all strikes need to be setup or be a setup. And no it doesn’t put you off balance but go ahead and keep pivoting stationary on your low kicks as that overhand right comes down the centerline and knocks you down/hurt your shin because you are kicking at the wrong angle
@@victorem4147what they're doing here is telegraphing because they are stepping also not every kick has to be a power shot pivoting is good to snap and go back to your stance
It makes me feel strong! I trained when I saw Nokweed Davy who is my size fighting men a lot bigger than he was. He’s stoic nature inspired me. It’s not about winning it’s about doing it
I recently just found this video and would like to implement this strategies, but what i find is that if I’m close enough to jab I’m way to close to not stuff my teep, this leaves me only being able to teep from kicking range and not able to throw a convincing jab into a teep as I would be to close, I tried making my stance wider but then I became too bladed and easy to sweep, any help would be much appreciated thank you. P.s I also have the same problem with kicks sometimes if that matters.
