Bought mine last week installing this weekend. Thanks Ben for the install video. The kit is amazing quality and glad to support and american company. We need more stuff for the ridgeline
Omg this lift is amazing finally some ones is making video of Ridgeline and making aftermarket things for it I personally think that this truck is no noticed or like nobody pays attention beacuse everyone say oh it's a Honda it's suck or it looks ugly beacuse of how it looks but not it's a good looking truck and can be really cool looking lifted with some mud tires or off road tires I have been thinking of making my Ridgeline into a Baja truck like making it fast lifted making a skid plate a metal bumber and stuff this truck is amazing and I'm gonna let you in a secret of the Ridgeline I daily it and don't you think like it's bad on gass like it uses lots of gass I found out a solution how to make it save gass like it's simple anyone can do it so what I did was change the filter sure it saved gass a little bit more with a new air filter on the engine but to really get best gas mileage is to take off ur cateletic converter or cat and it's the rear one it's under the driver and passenger side you might know what I'm talking about so take it off then take everything off inside the cat so it's hallow this will increase horse power and gas mileage I put it back on after I took off everything inside the cat keep in mind I still have my stock exausht and once I put everything back together I start it up it was the same it didn't sound loud or anything same sound nice a quiet after that I reved the engine I went to the tip of the exausht and it felt more air like coming out like lot it didn't feel like it was clogged or anything it felt like it was blowing the fumes or co2 or what ever out nice and there was dirt on the floor when I reved the engine it had so much like air coming out of the exausht it blew it like nothing after that I used it about a week and my gass would usually won't last like a whole week after I did the mod I would put gas in Monday by Saturday I would be at empty after I did the cat thing I was getting so good gass milage thaty gas would last up for 2 week like it was crazy my gas last more know it last more than my Honda ep3 and it a 4 banger and it also increase horse power I can feel the truck when I barely push the gas like it will go fast I want some one to try this and tell me the amazing results it really work it fast and easy and will save you gass and money
I’ll be doing this to my 08 Ridgeline once it’s out of the shop. They look great with those extra few inches in height. I’ve done some work on mine and this is my next step on my build
Glad I found this vid. Had a 2" spacer kit on my 06 for years and took it off, because I got tired if the awful vibration under acceleration and it was prematurely destroying axles. Now seeing this gives me hope and I want to lift it back up. I'd love to see a long travel kit made for the Ridgeline. Also, with that 3" kit, now it will accommodate a 32" or 33".
@@goodplanetfilms I actually called the company and spoke to them about that issue. They said they believe it's actually a axle issue, but that subframe kit aligns the axles again which would alleviate vibration. On a side note, if you replace your struts, DO NOT USE aftermarket springs, keep the original springs.
@@DARODOLO thanks for the note! Yes a lot folks with 2" lift kits had problems with axles being worn out prematurely. I just wonder if this would fix that issue.
I have the sub frame drop kit on my rd1 and it fixed all my wobble issues! Sadly im getting a ridgeline in a trade so gonna get rid of the crv on 30s and obviously get this kit for the ridgeline. Great video brother way easier than the rd1 haha
3:54 - I know this is super late but you mentioned clearance under the hood at this point in the video for tools... At 3:54, that rectangular hole on the top of the video is for your hood prop, raises it WAY higher and out of the way... I learned this after doing my front struts last year. Hope that helps somebody else in the future.
The ridgeline is a truck and I’m happy there is a lift available. And yea I said truck , my ridgeline has almost 400,000 k and everything still works …. I’m going to lift it !!
I’d love to see a full replacement front trail bumper like from ARB and etc. I think with a 3” lift now these rides are more serious contenders. Before knowing there was a 3” lift I’ve never even considered buying a ridgeline.
Front and rear metal bumpers with a winch mount or space tucked up into the bumper. Something that won't kill the approach angle and has tow hooks or D ring shackle mounts on the face of the bumper.
I want this so bad.. Just bought my 06 Ridgeline RT and although I like it its kinda boring looking as it's all stock. With this kit, some new rims and tires I will love it...
Thank you for the video. I actually make my own kit out of aluminum and poluurethane for a little give. It was really easy and way less than 150 bucks. The fox guys are my neighbors been jawing at them for some trick struts. Was toying with replacing springs with air bags but not sold yet. Oh and I have gone four inches just to be different. I am a platnum tech for forty years and a race car motocross nut so I really understand suspension. I have some ideas. Already ported polished heads flowed every thing working on electric turbo supercharger and remap.
I have a 2012 Honda Ridgeline that's got a 4 inch lift and also put set of XD rims with 265/65R18 Handkook Dynapro AT/M's. Rims and tires fill fender wells perfect (no scrubbing). Moog lower control arms, KYB inner and outer tie-rods. About to change struts from KYB to something beefer.
I love this option. I was looking underneath and knowing it's a unibody I hesitate doing anything but I was watch Baja racing videos and saw that the longer A Arms, axles, trailers, and Struts could have a longer suspension and larger tires but I doubt the unibody would hold up to the extended abilities that would have to be tried😅😂
I put a 2" front and rear lift on a 2012 Honda Ridegeline, and had the vehicle aligned. The vehicle immediately developed a shudder that starts at around 17mph and ends at about 20mph (the shudder seems to be happening only in the front of the car). The mechanic who did the work told me that he is concerned that the front axels might be stressed and that driving the car might cause damage to the axles and other expensive parts of the vehicle. Do you have any idea on what I might to do solve this problem?
sorry I got confused at the beginning of the video. So I only care about ground clearance, but I don’t care about how things look. And preferably a little bit bigger tires. is the subframe lift what I want? being closer to factory geometry is important to me. I want it to be reliable.
Great vid. Thanks. I'll be handing off my '13 RTL to my son soon enough, and am looking to tweak it a little so he's not driving his dad's car. I'd be interested in any of those modifications you spoke of. Thanks again.
sorry, one more question how is this different from the 2 inch lift kits on Amazon? I’m assuming the Amazon ones are much farther from the factory geometry? Do those still increase ground clearance?
Love to see some underside skid plate, rock sliders, tube bumpers. I’d love to see some custom struts. Too bad no big name companies like Bilstein or Rancho don’t make struts for the Ridgeline. I loved the video. Probably going to be buying your kits sometime in the near future
Looking for a 2007 - 2014 Honda RidgeLine Texas Edition with 3-4 Inch Lift Kit of Course + A Dully Back Set of Wheels. Can it be done? Texas Size Edition!!!
Is the install similar to a Gen 2 Honda Pilot minus the rear shock? I ordered the 3" Ultimate lift. I rather save $$$ and DIY and add new power tools to my tool box.
I’m late to the conversation. My question is: how does the lift and larger tire and wheels affect the vehicles performance ? Or did you add performance to the vehicle.
When you flip the rear strut assemblies around so they are backwards, instead of swapping them left and right, the plastic feature at the bottom of the perch area ends up facing the wrong way (end of the coil). Inboard is outboard and vice versa. That's why there's a left and a right for the rear. It's probably better to swap left and right so that inboard stays inboard and outboard stays outboard. Also why not have studs on the top of the front spacers? Regarding other products, how about a steering wheel spacer, to bring it further back?
Hey love the 3" lift kit I wish I saw this lift kit before I installed my 2" lift. That might be a future mod I'd be looking into. Would you be making a high clearance rock slider kit? Something like Jake Allen's friend, from Facebook, has built him? Also a high clearance bumper kit like the SSO slimline hybrid stage 2 kits they have for tacomas. If that's even a possiblility with these frames. Something to improve the approach and departure with a light armor.
Hello I was recently hir in my ridge line witch basically ripped off my rear bumper is there any kind of tube bumper or something I can replace it with that will still look good without the bumper cover on
I installed a 2" hitch receiver on the front of my 2014 Ridgeline to accommodate a snow plow, but the front end really sags when I lift the blade. Do you have any ideas how to eliminate or reduce the sag when the blade is in service? By the way I take the blade off when highway driving. I just use the blade for my properties.
You absolutely cannot install a 3 inch kit without the subframe kit. all our 3 inch kits or any kit that comes with a subframe kit you have to install the subframe kit FIRST. you will not be able to install the lift components without doing the subframe kit first. If you did install the lift components without the subframe kit. the suspension geometry and CV axle angles would be un driveable.
Hi there, are you facing any rub in the front on full turn of the tires? Also is there a need to change the length of connecting shafts for accommodating the changed angles? Thanks in advance!
Did you have to get a extended passenger side CV Axle ? Did a 2.5 lift kit and my passenger side CV axle seems a little short it drives but seems not fully seated in ?? Any help would be much appreciated
Hi, I have a 2014 Ridgeline and I bought from you the 3 inch kit, what is an appropriate time of hours that a mechanic should charge you for to put in the 3 inch kit. A regular mechanic just don't have the appropriate estimate to give me. Would you tell me how many hours would it take? Also the offset camber bolt comes with this kit?
Enjoy your video thank you im from NYC. I have 09 honda crv ex awd been trying to look for lift making little clearance off the floor any suggestions I wanted to put little bigger tires make like off road look can you help me what should I get how hi can I go on on the lift please thank u been for 2 years now
I install this 3 inch lift and I have nothing but wobbles and shaking on acceleration not sure what to do can I add more spacers to the sub frame or should I say washers with this help the situation Also I noticed rub marks and scrub marks on the axle from the sway bar links has anybody experienced this and what is the solution and greatly appreciate help
Thsnks for this video. I have a Ridgline 2014 standard, and i would like to lift it but only a litle to have little more agresive shape...but i dont want a monstertruck or a full offroad beast. Only a eastethic literalmente higer. You can recommend some lifting kit as that? Thanks again for you grear videos.

I have 3 inch lift and spacer kit and confirm to you you still get more more ground clearance from the height of just having bigger tires.. what I'm saying is you have more ground clearance than stock id say 2" s more
