Yesterday when I was dancing with my soul I noticed the fun way I move my hands and out of nowhere realized it could be super nice to use one of these ligh whips. I felt like I was already dancing with it even before having it, if that makes sense. Then I instantly made the decision of trying out. I haven't even made it through half your video and I want to say thankyou so much for what you said.. about dancing, and dancing, being and expressing yourself!! FiRST! I have always known I wanted to dance because I have a unique way of moving my body that was NOT popular in the 80s and 90s lol!! But didn't know how to channel that.. and Actually was living in Hawaii when I first saw fire dancing.. and as a young single mother in my 20s... started practicing by putting glow in the dark paint on some big ass cotton ball thingys lol... and now I come across this and other Poi lights and moves and now it's huge!! I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS BECAUSE I KNOW ILL BE GOOD OR... AMAZING!! Your Intro was awesome.. thankyou so much!! And your cat suit is awesome!

Love the way it comes together! Gonna keep watching videos before I buy one, they’re pretty expensive from what I can see and I don’t go clubbing anymore at 38 with three kids, but feel like this would be reallly fun to do in private for my partner and if I ever do hit the night scene again (maybe when my kids are out of the house, 10 years to go.. would a 50yo using a pixel whip be creepy? 😂), a talent that would be fun to share!
I actually am beyond and over clubbing (even festivaling) as I’m now 34. It’s primary purpose for me is to uplift my mood (express creatively), get me in my body, stay in shape, and seduce my man. I’ll have to do more tutorials talking about this. It’s highly effective at grabbing the man you want, holding his attention, or reinvigorating his lust for you.

I'm 5'5" and my whip is arm-spanned length when I hold the handle in one hand and stretch across my chest, the ends of the fibers in the other. I just videoed a whip comparison between the Spacewhip and Fiberflies v.4 last night. I'm still working on it, but both whips are roughly the same length, which is the perfect length for us, except Fiberflies is a bit too long. I'm going to cut the ends down a little. The best tutorial omfg. I got the space whip and the instructions say to grease it using their flowgrease. Just wondering if you use something similar?
I've tried using "lube" but, honestly, it's really not necessary. I think it's the biggest scam in the lightwhip community. If you need lube, you're doing it wrong. XD
I bought the flowgrease ($15!? ARGH!) so that I could show why no one needs to lube their whip and how they should generate a triboelectric charge instead of they want their whip to flow smoother. I also just bought the Spacewhip to do a comparison video with the Fiberflies Pixelwhip. So far, the Spacewhip is much "stickier" straight out of the box so it makes me think the material isn't the same PMMA fiber optics that Fiberflies uses. To not get caught in your whip, the best way is to make sure it's clean (it picks up sweat QUICK, but you can clean it with dish soap--the material is "acrylic"--the same as many plastics you have in your house) and to make sure all your skin that the whip touches is covered, ideally with a synthetic fabric as it can feel "sticky" with cotton. @@AishawithanEye I've taken my whip to several camping fests and smaller 2 day ones and i haven't touched the flowgrease since i made my original comment 😂 i agree the spacewhip feels heavier and thicker, and it DEFINITELY picks up sweat more. After lost lands, my whip was brown lmaoo. I will for sure check your workout tonight!!
Good questions! Yes. It does get tangled, in which case start and the ends to untangle it as you would you hair to avoid stressing the fibers, which can snap them off. It shouldn't get tangled that often if your whip is clean. If it's dirty--from the sweat and oil it picks up from your body--use dish soap to clean it. I just finished filming a tutorial about how to do this so stay tuned! By "frizzy" do you mean the fibers splaying out? This is the ideal condition for the whip because visually it's much prettier and it will collect and "frizz" out when you flow to create more diversity in your dance. A clean whip will frizz while a dirty one will stick together and tangle. I've gone years without cleaning my whips and was still getting compliments on my dance, but I recently filmed it clean vs. dirty and the whip moves much prettier and brighter when its clean! I hope this helps!
@@dontbother7948 There is a button on the handle that changes the color and all whips change colors. 😊 I recommend Fiberflies. The Spacewhip is twice as heavy and not as bright.
Synthetic fabrics work best. There is a way to create a triboelectric charge between you and the whip which will cause it to glide over your body. I'll go into this in a video I'm currently working on. Oh, and, no jewelry and don't use lube on your whip. It doesn't help and just gets all over your clothes.
