I feel more at home living in cuba resort than canada. In canada all i do is work every day 12 days a week doing overtime. Im a health care worker. I got up at 4:30 am start working at 6- 2 . Then back next day and overtime. I work then bed or jump in our pool or gym other than that Cuba is my resting place to relax my muscles and unwind
Yes in Canada we all work so hard to earn a good living, so for many Canadian Cuba is a great option. Safe, Great Beaches, Beautiful Climate friendly Culture, Great Coffee. And I enjoy Cubas Food.
Interesting share Mike. I hope you don’t take what I’m about to write in any negative way, because it’s not meant to be. you are one lucky man, to have found a wonderful woman/BF, who allows you to have the freedom to do what you love. She’s a keeper. Cheers!! Don’t stop making these videos, wealth of info.

Hi Mike, another excellent video, thanks for letting us see a glimpse into your hectic, well traveled and interesting life. Love how you embrace each situation and place. Great to have the support of your wife and kids. It's impressive how all of you make it work. Safe travels 🌅
Hi Mike, another excellent video with your personal insights on how you, Jenny, & family make this successful in your lives. You are a Nomad, with Cuba 🇨🇺 running thru your veins. Thanks for your honest viewpoints. Look forward to your future adventures in Cuba. Bill.
Awesome video Mike. I look forward to your videos. Can't get enough them. We're planning our next trip to Cayó Coco either late fall or early winter. Cheers Peter
We miss home when we visit friends or family in Canada, but we travel to enjoy places like Cuba, and the Cuban people, but we live at resorts in Cuba for two or three weeks, and that make memories we will always recall later. After about 8 trips to Cuba, and 4 to Norway, we have amazing memories, and look forward to making more in Cuba, thanks to your videos I know we will have many more.
Wow! Mike busy schedule....Love your videos! Do you upload all your Cuba videos outside of Cuba? You must have a a really good phone plan! You have a dog......Thanks for sharing!
Great video and tips ! I have been going to Cuba for many years and over 20 times and I always say Cuba is my second home. I often go by myself if my family is not available and as though I stay inside the resort I always feel very safe and they always want to help me and make sure I have everything I need. It’s so true you have to go with the flow, I had many things brake in my rooms over the years and sometimes we didn’t have any butter, ketchup or mustard but hey when you are in paradise these little things are details and I will always go back. Now however I go to newer and better hotels and always upgrade to VIP sections for the restaurants and private pools and beach. Also the rooms and views are usually better. My favourite resort at the moment is the Iberostar Bella Vista in Varadero, can’t wait to go back in October ! ☀️🏖️😎
Thx Mike intetesting video.yes i to must pinch myself and realize how lucky i am.booked june for Cayo largo but now is closed till Oct.so going to Muthu In Guilletmo.thx keep the vidéos coming.i adopted à phrase you say often, and i say it everyday,,,today is gonna be amazing!! Thx Mike ,,cuidarte
You need to slow down Fish I’ve only done 20 trips! Lol Great to have the Cuba videos back.I’m looking forward to my next trip in November and visiting my second family in CSM.
The fact you can get 28 day packages for under $2500 is amazing to me. Folks could easily live/retire down there for less than is cost to live in Canada. I’m sure seasonal 90 day deals will one day become a thing down there.
Of all the all inclusive resorts in Varadero which one would you most highly recommend if you were to combine beach and food and room? And the same for Cayo Santa Maria? And the same for Cayo Coco and Cruz? Thanks.
I made my Top Resort Video out in January Have you watched it? My top Resort of 2024 will be out January 1 After I go to all the resorts to and experience them
Would love a video of Kampinksi Cayo Guillermo Resort! There is so little on youtube about this resort but it seems like a really neat, otherworldly place!
@@Finding-Fish yeah probably why we don’t see much about it on here! It’s like a mysterious unicorn! 😂 I am just so curious if it’s worth it for a once in a lifetime trip, or if it’s just too overpriced and a whole lot of the same experience you’d get anywhere else at the other great resorts in Cuba!
Another great video! Curious to know if you have thought about putting chapters in your videos to give the viewers quick access to different parts of the video? Thanks
I do book all inclusive Resorts when in Cuba but not usually on other Islands And yes later this year I will make a video addressing when and how I book my Cuba Vacations
Appreciate your channel! Curious to know if you have a website or email where people can send you random questions about the resorts you have visited or certain tips? Or do you prefer the ease of just using RU-vid to interact with your subscribers? Thanks.
Right Now just RU-vid!!! When I travel I don't look at E-mails. I just don't have the time. And when I'm away sometimes the Internet is Terrible so massive delays for me to respond. I will be doing a special Member only later this fall possibly for Subscribes and certian Questions.
Mike, love your video's. Been to Cuba a couple of times and the beauty of their beaches and the people are the best in the Caribbean. Question for you. Given how many times you have travelled to Cuba, I don't recall in any of your video's any discussion about eSim cards and the quality of the wifi there. I'm hoping to do a working vacation in the fall in Cayo Santa Maria but I can't use hotel wifi - not secure enough. Have you used eSims during your travels there and if so, where can they be purchased?
I love your videos! Im just wondering if you are buying your travel medical insurance out of country ,me and my husband travel out of country sometimes and we always get an emergency medical insurance, but is not cheap!Do you have any advice? Thank you for your videos!we love it 😊
Dave from grimsby here. Cheers Mike loved the video Cuba for me is decompressing from work and enjoying the people and beaches. Heading back to Cuba next Friday for the fourth time this year Eighth time in one year. The prices are crazy low right now I paid 640 for the week with free diamond club upgrade. It’s funny looking at the price cause it’s actually 245 Canadian plus tax how do they make money wow. Anyways cheers.
Glad you enjoyed it Absolutely Crazy Prices right now Dave They Don't make Money at that PRICE!!! Eventually it will eat away at Future Budgets and In the Fall Food quality and quantity might go down!!! Cheers Mike
@@Finding-Fish Well, Mike, thought perhaps teacher thinking early retirement.....but hard worker since 18 means well-deserved early retirement-style travelling lifestyle---well-earned!!!
@@vant8880---I do not understand what your issue with the question is? He speaks very clearly, makes his point with brevity and does a great job explaining things. In other words--the mark of a good teacher. What is your issue and what do you mean by "Canadian culture"?
Both are Great, Santa Maria is a longer Bus Ride... Great Beaches its really hard to say Perla Blanca Beach is Amazing but so is Caribe and Flamecos beach and Tryps beach.
@@jenniferfisher4912 awesome! Unless I’ve missed it, I do not see a Royalton Santa Maria review? It’s always rated number one. And one of the few I haven’t stayed at. Normally cause the most expensive. Thanks.
Great new content, Mike. Thanks for the transparency, giving us a glimpse into the life of our favourite nomadic gentleman . Our last two trips were to Mexico, I’m about to book a Samana trip … but your videos always convince us to book at least one annual trip to Cuba ( sometimes, much more than one). There’s a certain charm in the simplicity of a well run Cuban resort. We pay a large premium, coming from Western Canada. So, we choose Cuba for the familiarity of the land, as opposed to the great travel deals. I do miss the luxury of living relatively close to Pearson and those amazing travel deals. Keep up the great work!
We will be In Cuba in July!!!! Yes VERY hot!! Food quality can be lower!! due to Low Season.. Resort tend to be Quiet!!!Due to low season... but we love it You will get great Deals
Hey Mike another informative video love your comment at the end about checking your ego. We travel 3-4 times a year down south and my girlfriend has mentioned to me that she feels other people are less “snobby” In Cuba rather than then the other places we travel too. Just got back from Mexico and wanted to let you know we were talking to other people there about your channel and so many people agree we love your channel and it’s vey informative, you show us what we want know. You are living the dream sir I’m jealous keep up the great work.
A lot of old run down, crappy resorts in Cuba, beware of where you book and do a lot of homework researching resorts before you hand over your credit card and book, these reviews can't always be trusted as i found out the hard way.Be warned.
