Woah, this is a lot to take in. I loved his tiny desk concert, so was intrigued to see how he did it, then found your video and im impressed. Would love to learn more, so ill definitely check out your other videos. I currently use maschine 2 software (previously cakewalk lol), so its fair to say ive not got much experience with this sort of thing. How much would you recommend moving to ableton? It seems like you can do a lot on there!
I truly appreciate your kind words and support. It means a lot to me that you're interested in learning more. Feel free to explore my other videos for more tips and tricks. I'm a big Ableton fan, of course. But if you're looking for a live application for a DAW, Ableton Live is the one!
Ok, now I’m so confused. Why does it seem like there are a million different ways to loop in ableton? There the live looper plugin, there’s launching clips, there’s this. I’m so confused.
Hey! this is the great thing about Ableton Live! There are many ways to do the same thing, it about experimenting and figuring out which way works for YOU. find your own workflow that fits with you. Don't feel like you have to master each way.
Mmm strange, have you got the keyboard selected as a ‘music’ keyboard? Some times when the querty keyboard is engaged to play musical notes the key mapping doesn’t work.
@@pushpatterns What do you exactly mean by that? Keymapping works - on my keyboard the number "1" is mapped to launch the LauncherMidiClip Now I want to map "the notes" -> I click on MIDI and on my chords an empty field, and now when I press "1" again (as I did on Keymapping) it wont work. Nothing happens

Yeah does look a bit odd. He’s not monitoring through his iPhone he’s just using the headphones to hear the click in Ableton live to keep all the loops in time
You can use a bluetooth jack adapter to send/recieve audio and connect any 3.5 mm jack. I used one connected to a djm mixer and be able to move around hahah
@@pushpatterns thank you SO much, that makes perfect sense and is the ink answer I need. If you ever need a kidney or something please don’t hesitate to ask 💕
