My artic tent been up for 15 months now its a amazing tent, I’ve had no problems with mice, i pulled the snow flap inside the tent, put a ground sheet over the edge of the flap ,then put artificial grass on top, stop all the damp and stopped the bugs best wishes dave chubb

Good day, To combat/target only the slugs border the whole of your growing patch with 2 rows of bricks or rocks leaving a gap between them of approximately 2 inches fill the gap with sea sand/grit(free off most beaches) then top off with a cheap table salt from the supermarket which costs pennies. This concentrates the salt outside & away from the garden plus the slugs don't usually make it past the inner row of stones/bricks hence again not spreading the salt... Regards Christine 😁👍

Diatomaceous earth can work for slugs. Also after eating grapefruit you can place the empty halves cut side down in the garden. Slugs often will hide under them during the day; pick up the grapefruit and dispatch the slugs hiding beneath with extreme prejudice.

Also to get worms into your compost pile is introduce them via a mature manure heap, as all long standing dung piles have thousands of tiny red worms within them... put a huge clump of worm ridden dung into the middle of your compost heaps. All being well they will colonise your heaps as they rot.... 😁 Regards Christine 😁👍

you can make slug fences out of thin wires and a 9 volt battery to protect your plants, at the same time you can add partner plants near the cropping plants to deter them.

Hi bud. Make a full moat right round the perimeter of your veg plot. Plastic guttering fully sealed at seems. Or concrete moat..sealed. Fill with very salty water. Dish soap. Onion. Garlic. = no slugs ✌️👍

I saw a YT vid where a bloke grew veg in raised beds surrounded by planking and he'd set up double wire and batteries those small rectangular ones . When the slugs crawled up the plank to get to the plants, they create a circuit (one end of their body touching one wire and the other end the other wire) and electrocute themselves.

Have you seen the bucket mouse trap where peanut butter attracts them and the bucket drowns them. No poison. A simple 2 gallon bucket. A stick/ramp and peanut butter

Really enjoyed the vlog ..... thanks for all the kit advice.... been thinking of long term camping for a while now as well... suggest raised beds & soil mixed to fill with copper edging will sort out the slugs...seen this on a few gardening vids.... thought that nets over the strawberries on raised beds would be better as well.

As far as mice go, research how to make a 5 gallon bucket water trap. It is self re-setting and will catch multiple mice. Scoop out drowned mice and you are good to go. You have to come up with a way to block Buster since the bait is peanut butter.

Apparently if you lay a copper pipe on the ground the slugs get electrocuted through static and can't cross. Also apparently it's possible to grow plants at an exponential rate by using electroculture (Wrap a copper wire around a stick to create an antenna, place it in the ground near the plants and it absorbs the radiation in the air then directs it into the soil)

Fragrant Bounce fabric softener used in a dryers is a product that mice don't like. Traps are good, but you are in a forest where there are lots of them. Keeping food items and other stuff in a metal trash can that has a locking lid will keep them out. Tall trash cans for your arrows. Potting soil in a raised bed might work for other stuff, but that can get costly. Check out Fy Nyth you tube for how she did her raised garden. Another great info video. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day.

Dean ...Get some copper wire /tape round the allotment area against slugs etc it shocks them also lots of lil beer traps better than one big one ,also they lay their eggs in leave mould ,u need to add grass cuttings , newspaper , egg shells , human and dog waste to make good compost . As for the mice burn sage they hate it ... Don't forget owls eat mice , catch them and take them for a walk and let them go . Always read seed packets as to what they require to grow watch Monty Don 😂 . U need to earth up potatoes into humps to get best results as leaves start showing .

I know that this a year old but it's never too late you to add kit you could put some superglue in your first aid kit for some of the bigger cut injuries to seal the wound until A and E treatment is sought and duct tape could also prove useful in instances of broken limbs and for keeping the contents of the stomach together where they should be the Pop in type sanitary equipment that ladies use can be used for bigger puncture wounds as they expand when wet and hope you or anybody reading this never have to use them Another great video but the bloody adverts
