Thanks! I'm here because my little sister has no reguard for boundaries even when I ask her not to just randomly pop up in my room. Mind you we are both in our twenties! Not that I have anything to hide I just don't like people walking in on me especially after a long day at work I'm trying to wind down after dinner and cleaning the kitchen.

I have successfully done this and can say for sure you don't have to break the end of the fork. You can slide any piece of metal through.

i didt use this . my door just keeps opening and closing bcs of strong wind. i just used a coingbetween the edge of the frame and door. it can still ba open but you need to push it more harder.
