My father was a super stylish Italian and he encouraged me to always look stylish - less is more - wear nice perfume, always have good shoes and bags and jewellery and always look after what you have then your good things can last a lifetime. And keep smiling and be gracious 🥰
Your father sounds like he was a lovely man. I have an elderly friend from Mexico (late eighties) and he still polishes his shoes religiously and wears a fedora that matches his outfit every day :)
My father always said “Don’t buy a lot, but buy quality.” I always appreciated that. It made me feel good to know he would spend a little extra to get something nice for me or my sister or mother. We didn’t have a lot of money, so buying something nice meant a sacrifice for him. Everything is more special when you have to stretch for it. My dada says the same. Also he taught me 'cost per wear' spend £300 if you wear it 150 days a year is a better investment than £20 and you only wear once!
Excellent advice, staying away from “toxic” people resonates with me. I have a co-worker who’s filled with anger, hate, and jealousy. She literally prays malice on people. When she used to chat with me it was filled with hate and anger that I felt drained afterwards. Last week, she stopped talking to me, but I feel so much better; as if an an invisible, heavy cloud dissipated.

I love your classy, positive attitude and radiant energy. Great tips! Other tips that come to mind are wearing clean, well-tailored and ironed clothes. I've also seen women who looked classy until they started talking and curse words came out of their mouths. My estimation of them immediately dropped. It's so important to talk as smart and intelligently as one looks.
My mom was very classy and I never knew anyone with more honor and Honesty, we never had much money but my mom could look good by just her smile and the way she carried herself and how she loved people,....I miss her, but I am grateful for the way she showed me in life , she could just wake up and look beautiful she took care of her skin and hair and teeth, and I will never forget what she said inward beauty is so important because it shows threw the outside, she was always well put together, she had many talents , ...want to thank you for all your information in your videos, always look forward to seeing you and listen to your thoughts and advice! The tip I liked the best is about having a budget and staying within your means because, when you have a clear picture of your finances, you can feel confident which does show in your posture, your face, and your actions. Excellent recommendations. Would add watch how you speak... call it the Singing in the Rain element. Pronouce your words fully. Keep your voice lower in the register and avoid sounding whiny or strident. Nothing blows the elegant/sophisticated visual faster than opening your mouth and having a breathy high pitched little girl voice... and on those same line educate yourself so that when you do open your mouth you are knowledgable and have the fact to back your opinions.
I agree with everything you say on elegance but tattoos - totally agree on taking care of yourself and saving money. I think not only are you attractive but the way a woman moves and expresses herself also adds to elegance and you have that down. Love your channel.

My mother used to say that “topping and tailing” was the key: clean and tidy hair, shoes and hands. The rest will follow .... and similarly to other comments: a gracious and sunny disposition always helps!
I just love your videos, until recently I hardly work make up but now 47 I do find as say you say little touch (with your tips) does make a big difference!. Being kind and thoughtful to others especially now. I also agree with the shoes, I find polishing my shoes is very therapeutic!!!!

I’ve learnt so much from your channel and have created a capsule wardrobe of classic pieces including my shoes and handbags , I’ve paired down my costume jewellery again to classic designs , and when I walked into the hairdresser today , I was told I looked very channel, yet the clothes were inexpensive but styled together, I felt a million dollars just to hear that , so thank for your inspiration .

Such a great piece! I love the monochrome look. Last Spring, I decided to wear a pale blue outfit ... Pencil skirt, soft cotton blouse, heels, full length smart cotton cardigan as a "coat" .... Couldn't believe how many compliments I received. Normally, I use navy and then add a little pale blue. I learnt a good lesson.
Wonderful wonderful tips. Never give up & NEVER use plastic!! Right On. Been fighting against plastic for seemingly decades now. Classy is an attitude. Simple but quality being key & not only caring for yourself, but the things you’ve actually invested in. They will last for as long as you care for them & want them.
Merci Frédérique, ! a good tip as well, repair or mend your clothes...replace missing buttons, iron your clothes, take your clothes to the tailor if needed. When my two girls were young and in school, I would always make sure their shoes would be always cleaned, shoe laces cleaned...school bags cleaned :) Bisous mon amie xxx

Love your tips!! I'm learning a lot.. I love looking classy, polish, well put together in simple ways.. Having a healthy lifestyle gives me healthy skin, nice body, sparking eyes and thick, dark, shiny hair.. I also invest in classic pieces of clothing... I stick to whites, blacks, beige, grays. Monochrome it is. Classic. Make up should enhance your feature. I prefer just sunblock gel, eyebrows and red lipstick. Classy is natural looking with effortless effect...

I love monochrome, in mostly lighters colors for me. My two favorite outfits are my white dress or jumpsuit, with my white duster cardigan. I add white, tan or gold accessories and I feel like a million dollars.

Totally agree about the posture…. I went to Monte Carlo for a weekend and my friend and I were trying to work out why the French and Monégasques looked so much chicer than the British that were there …..and it was 100% their posture x

I am a new subscriber and have been binge watching your videos. Although, I am a senior woman I can relate to so much of what you say. I am not French, but have many attributes you preach since I was a young man woman. I used to have very dark hair before it turned grey, and had the same color eyes as you I noticed.
