I have an issue im trying to figure out how to fix. I have a problem eating fat. I become severely inflammed all over if I eat to much so I stay within 50-70g a day. Many of the symptoms are severe head pressure, nasal congestion, severe asthma, joint paint, overall body weakness, muscle loss, weak teeth and nails, cavities. The person i was working with believes i have CIRS from mold. She had me doing lipid replacement but I cant tolerate more fat than I mentioned above. Not sure if your program is something that can help.

I am 74 years old as of February 2024. Started the Keto lifestyle this past February 9, 2023. Inflammation, insulin resistance and heart surgery dictated my change to carnivore July 14 2023. Started to feel GREAT this past December 2023, better than I have felt in my entire life. Still researching and tweaking my carnivore lifestyle. As of today I have gotten rid of 74 pounds. 44 of those pounds came from Keto but Keto didn't address my inflammation fast enough. However my pre diabetes has corrected. My cardiologist congratulated me on my weight loss and reduced A1C but commanded that I abandon that Keto and pick up some Repatha from the drugstore that he was ordering and give myself inoculations in my stomach to address my high LDL. I quit him instead.

I’m 62 and have followed a plant based diet for the last 6 years since a second diagnosis of breast cancer, which resulted in a mastectomy. This threw me into the menopause and since I’ve been at war with my hormones. I was feeling like I was drying out from the inside and intuitively felt I needed greasing. I was starting to wake up with small injuries, skeletal and muscular. My 34 year old son, who has been carnivore for 6 months was concerned about me and begged me to try carnivore for just 3 months. I’m in my 2nd month and I’ve never felt so well, fat has become muscle and I feel so much stronger. I’m shocked at how good my skin is and how fast it changed. I’m filling out but not getting bigger. I didn’t need to lose weight, I needed muscle mass. I have more energy and sleep more deeply and longer. I don’t wake up as often to go to the toilet. I was concerned it would lower my vibration but I bless my meat and give thanks to the animals. The opposite has happened, my psychic abilities have enhanced. My dreams are more positive and now in colour! I love following this channel, thank you ladies and especially SBGal 🥰🇬🇧🙏

This comment will probably die but I just wanted to say that this video has inspired me to do carnivore for at least a year and I wanted to come back to it with an update. I've been off and on carnivore for the last year and I was also pregnant and currently nursing but never stuck with it more than 3 months after getting my short term results. I've been looking at a lot of before and after pictures of female carnivores and notice their boobies do look a little more lifted, even if they wasn't the goal I never knew it was possible. I'm 32 years old and have 2 children, the first I nursed for 2 years and the other one is 1 year also being nursed and my boobs are just sad. I just finished week 1 of priming, feel great. I feel like nothing can stop me this time around. I've already been able to make it through 2 social settings without any temptation. I try not to weigh myself but I did and I am gaining weight but oh well because I am hitting the weights pretty hard and I can tell fat in other areas are disappearing, so I must be doing something right. What I'm hoping for in a year: Hypertrophy muscles Lifted boobs Sculpted legs Abs I've never had "abs" as a goal even when I served 5 years in the Marines, I was really strong. I never dreamed of having abs and sculpted legs but this video really inspired me to be consistent. My legs, calves specifically have always been huge, extra fat on there. Even if the rest of me is fit, my calves just stay big and fat. 1 year from Aug 22 I will be posting and update. Thank you ladies so much for sharing your stories and making this video.

Please do a video on children. I drive a bus with 13 autistic children and all of them live on diets of coco pops, pizza and pasta. Every day, with squash drinks to wash it down and sugar treats as rewards for good behaviour. I believe that none of them will have productive lives. They are all undernourished so often off sick with viral diseases and their futures look grim if they continue this way. But i’m not a doctor or a teacher i’m not even a mother but I can see the effects of what their diets are doing to them. And it’s heart breaking. 💔

I started carnivore a month ago and have experienced great progress so far. My wife, who is in great shape already but has specific things she wants to improve, has started moving from her calorie restricted diet to carnivore. I make bacon and eggs for lunch and constantly encourage her to eat eat eat and not worry about calories, which to me, as a chemical engineer... are pointless. I have noticed that there is so much pre-conditioning regarding food. Women are 'supposed' to eat like birds and to me thats complete bullshit. Slowly, by leading and not forcing, I see that she is becoming deconditioned - and she is seeing the results. Thanks for producing this all women discussion, I am sending this to her right away.
@sarahy9513
@sarahy9513 5 месяцев назад
I keep telling people that we're not math problems (like calorie counting implies), we're chemistry problems. Most of them look at me like I'm insane even when I give the thought experiment example of how, if they need to put salt water in something and all they have is elemental sodium, chlorine, hydrogen, and oxygen, they can't just put in the correct proportions of each of those raw materials, they'd have to react them first to make H2O and NaCl and *then* combine those. Every now and again I get someone who didn't sleep through chemistry in school who has the light switch flip from that example, but it's pretty crazy how deeply entrenched the mathematical view of calories is.

I came to carnivore somewhat backwards. I've been keto and pretty happy for the past 3 years, but my cholesterol has been up. 280. I'm off of all my other meds and I've changed docs twice to find someone who would support me. NO luck. I decided to do the Feldman protocol to get my doctor off of my back. I'm fat adapted, and had done intermittent fasting before--longest 7 days and generally lost 7 pounds and then put 5 of them back on. I had water fasted for 7 days but added in bone broth on the last 2 days. (lost 5 pounds) Ate keto for the next 2 days and gained a pound. Then I started the Feldman protocol which of course means eating 3X the calories--which was practically impossible. I thought, the only way I could get to 3500 calories per day and not have to do crazy tracking was to eat carnivore. 2 ribeyes and 4 eggs in 2 meals per day, fried in butter or bacon grease. I expected to gain weight. I did this for 3 days and really tried to hit 3500 calories which was almost impossible. I was stuffed. I assumed I would gain weight, but unlike in the past, I kept off the weight I lost during the fasting and more, net LOSS at the end of 12 days was 8 pounds...I lost 3 more pounds eating massive amounts of food. I actually made my doctor weigh me because I questioned my scale. My cholesterol did drop some, 201-- not as much as I would have expected. Nonetheless, my doctor was proud of me. She said, "You aren't on keto anymore, right?" "Well...." I told her I was doing sort of a modified keto. She said, "See, less red meat and more salmon and olive oil and your cholesterol is down. Keep up the good work." I did not tell her I ate 6 steaks in 3 days, fried in bacon grease. I'm pretty sure she would have had a heart attack.

Please, tell your doctor. They need to start opening their eyes and especially their minds. Millions of sick people are treated wrongly, the prescribed foods and meds from doctors make people more sick. I’m 30 days carnivore today. Mostly beef & butter, with cream in my decaf daily, cheese 2-4 times a week, just started eating/using my own beef tallow & loving it. My weight went up about 4 lbs in the first couple weeks, but in the 4th week my body composition started changing. I’m down to my start weight now but have less fat. My love handles are nearly gone & my tummy is starting to go. I was already low carb for 3 or 4 months when I started. I lost more weight on low carb but I already prefer carnivore because of the changes in my body composition! I was only going to do 7 days of carnivore, but my digestion was noticeably better after just 7 days so I decided I wanted to go 14 days. Then I wanted 21. Now at 30 days today I am in no rush to change. I haven’t committed to a new #, but I already prepped my food for a beach date tmrw & noticed it’s all carnivore 👍 oh I also have had seafood a couple times a week. Either salmon, sardines, shrimp or oysters.

I am not carnivore but I am getting closer. I had a double mastectomy in early May. There were many complications and a long stint in the hospital. The best thing about being in the hospital (besides not dying) was my inability to eat “keto” snacks. That alone made a huge change in my former hunger. I was eating super low carb in the hospital and continued at home. No more snacks. No more fake breads. I am forcing myself to eat meat first then veg. I hope to drop veg soon.

@@suew4609 Hi..I used to use unsalted in my daily life even before the diet because I would make quiche now and then and I like the unsalted so I continued using it.. I am now 13 months in and down 105 pounds and I have cut back on my butter consumption by buying beef fat trimmings from the butcher.. I bought 25 pounds worth because there was a minimum order and I broke it down into smaller parcels and froze it.. When I was using butter I would have it with my meal mostly..steak and butter.. I would have a piece of steak and a slice of cold butter.. the 100-125 grams was over the day.. I did it for most of the year and then went to beef fat as it was a lot cheaper and it's delicious done in chunks in the airfryer as a side to my meat.. I can now buy cheaper cuts of meat that are not that fatty and still get my fatty meat.. if that makes sense.. It's well worth doing this diet.. I will never eat any other way..

Apart from losing 10 kilo’s I hope I can finally say goodbye to my eczema and lots of histamine reactions. In one of your other vids you mentioned raw beef liver would speed up the healing. So I bought a pound of grassfed raw beef liver. To be able to get it in, I froze it a bit, toen cut it into tiny pieces and froze it completely. This works! I can take out a bunch of pieces and just get them down with a glass of water. Works perfectly. Your Information is so helpful Bella, thank you.

i am 56, will be 57 in June. i am 5'9" and was 127 lbs since my 20s until I married @ 47 in 2018. I knew going into the marriage it was a bad idea but thought i could manage it. You can't make the wrong person the right person. All on me. So foolish. Anyway, it was a super stressful 3.5 years and it coincided with my hormones going haywire in menopause. My highest weight was 169 lbs. The worst part is how i felt. Achy, fatigued, irritable, etc... After the divorce I lost 15 lbs almost immediately. Pretty sure it was just less cortisol from being less stressed. Keto helped me drop another 10 lbs. I went too high too fast with the fat and the gallbladder pain referred to my right shoulder and derailed me. I got ahead of my body's ability to metabolize the fat. Found carnivore and LOVE IT. Three months in. I am a carb/sugar addict. I have trouble moderating. Carnivore is simpler. Fewer choices, never hungry and the convenience. My skin glows and is so soft. Eating butter getting ready for a fat fast. I am at 140 lbs still losing lbs and inches. The # doesn't bother me as I like what I see in the mirror. The body composition is shifting. A lot of my initial weight gain went to my bust. Now I know what all my busty friends meant about being unable to find/wear cute shirts because of the girls garnering all the attention. Also just so heavy. Glad to lose them but didn't want the deflated after effects. The butter seems to have found its home there and keeping the skin firm and filled out. Only exercise for now is stretching and calisthenics. Will be adding strength training after the fast. Seeing the quick results adds to the sustainability.

Yeah, I know what you mean! But we always need to keep an open mind, and understand that the "authorities" can sometimes miss the boat BADLY. We just saw that in a big way, the last few years (covid). What is being reported here is consistent with -- just more extreme than -- decades of observation and publication on low-carb and keto diets. One very critical point to keep in mind is that essentially 100% of the literature on pathogenicity of high fat intake speaks to diets that are moderate in fat and quite high in carbohydrate (and often junky carb at that). It is the *combination* of high fat and high carb that causes the problems, IMO. That's what causes the insulin resistance, the out of control appetite, the metabolic derangement, etc. You can eat high carb OR high fat and (usually) get away with it, but not both.

You should consider doing calls like this as a live call on youtube where people can ask question by donating. I know you do a ton inside your group, but doing a 1x a month youtube live would be cool as well and could get donations for those who want to ask their own questions.

I am nearly sixty and I can totally relate to many of the comments here. Before carnivore I was keto for a few years which was good, but carnivore is next level. In 2014 I had lost nearly 20kg and still had pre-diabetic blood results. It felt very unfair! I was inflamed and had many inconvenient health issues, IBS, joint pain etc., I am coeliac and blamed that. Now my bloods, and here I am quoting my Gp, are "metabolically perfect", very low Trigs, high HDL, HbA1c 5.4. My blood pressure 90/60. My weight normal, my inconvenient symptoms pretty much gone. Sleep is still a bit of an issue but I am also BP1 (beautifully stable 90% since going keto in 2014 and evolving to CV around 2019). I wonder if I have a blue light sensitivity. I need to experiment with glasses but need a script. I take no meds at all. I eat meat, fish, eggs, butter and occasionally a small amount of dairy. On the rare occasion I have something outside of CV I regret it for days. I still have some work to do on strength and tone, I look good but know I could do better. When people say that the restriction of carnivore is too hard I am disheartened, partly because I agree, but I look around at other people my age and their health concerns and lack of energy and I wish I could just let them experience for a day how I feel. We spend so much time using food, particularly processed food as reward or a comforter, our socialising is always around eating rather than just being present. Carnivore is perfect for me.

I'm 52 and slowly healing through this carnivore journey. My question is, could you please invite a panel of men and women and possibly teenagers, talking about prepping for the food shortage? I would love to here from Carnivore preppers. What foods to prep. Thanks in advance.

Would really enjoy seeing interviews with younger long term carnivore women who have conceived / carried pregnancies/ breastfed whilst on carnivore. The hormones & reproductive health needs are so different at that stage of life than in post menopausal or older women who are done having kids. I know for many women around my age it’s believed that carnivore simply isn’t right or has to be modified for pregnancy especially & for young children to grow & develop properly during puberty. Would love more info on this!

Ice been carnivore for 4 months now. I didn't see all of the result everyone was seeing and was really frustrated. I have IBS and my constipation came back after a few months and was really frustrated. But! I recently started tracking my caleries and and found that I was UNDER eating. By a lot. I was barely getting 1300 calories a day and often had a 50/50 with my fat and protein, or more protein than fat. So I decided to risk it all and shot for 80/20 fast to protein ratio. Two days in my bowels went back to normal, I was full, I was happier and my gut pain started going away. I think the higher fat is needed to heal issues, then can move to higher protein if you want, but it wasn't serving me at this point in my journey.

I was never a big beef eater. Steak was ok, but hamburgers were boring 🥱 Now I eat 2 thick patties almost daily & top with a liverwurst patty, cheese, brewers yeast (b vit), flaxseed (omega 3), and a fried egg. Sometimes a slice of bacon too. It’s not grass fed meat, so I’m supplementing. It’s all so juicy & flavorful, I have NO desire for condiments, other toppings, or bun. And I’m full for hours, so fasting is easy. I wasn’t used to cooking every day, but it’s worth it. And I have other things to heat up if I can’t. Wish I’d known all this sooner!! Better late than never 😄

Great chat Ladies. I seem to only come across mostly men chats, no complaining, just wanted more of a females point of view and successes. Watched several of your videos, also Kelly's, A Chaffee and many others. Going to sign up for August, been mostly winging it for 4 weeks, lost 20lb so far. Got a least another 50lb to go, would like to make sure I'm on the right track to get to my optimal weight. I'm 57, from UK and menopausal. 😊

I’m doing fine. As a 63 year old male I didn’t think loose skin would bother me. Ive lost 65 lbs. now over 3 years and have about 40 to go. I’m starting to see loose skin and its starting to bother me. I eel healthy but don’t look healthy. I’m starting to dress to hide the loose skin .
