Bella, I'm the kind of carnivore that can just eat any type of fatty meat all day with no problems but I wanted to say that I'm impressed by how sophisticated your advice has become when it comes to recommending diet alterations for people with varying types of sensitivities. This is the type of thing that we have always needed in the carnivore community and I just wanted to thank you for being the person to bring it to us.

I have taken a stick of Salted Anchor butter with 250-300grams boiled ground beef for three(3) days now, in one(1) meal taken from 12noon to 4pm, approximately six(6) glasses water/plain black brewed coffee. I just regurgitated approximately two(2) tablespoons of acidic sputum, mostly butter, which turned solid in a few minutes at room temperature.....

I started using butter for the fat but now can eat unlimited beef fat, almost my fill of lamb fat but hardly any pork fat before I'm nauseous and it affects my guts. My butcher provides roasts and whole cuts with all the fat still on, beef bacon and 70/30 mince in bulk. I keep the dripping to cook my eggs in. This is such an easy diet to follow, you just need to find the right butcher. Stick with it and your body will adapt to more fat.

Thank you so much for this vlog Bella! I’m 3.5 months carnivore and have run through the gamut of side effects all the while feeling better in so many ways that I stuck to it. It probably took me 6 weeks to adapt from Keto to Carnivore. Your vlogs have really helped me along the way. Thank you! This vlog in particular really helps explain some of the issues I was dealing with! I had no idea about hot fat, and getting enough butter. I’m mostly eating beef, 100% grass fed pasture raised, pasture raised eggs and Kerrygold or Vital Farms butter. Occasionally I crave chicken wings and also buy Cooks Venture pasture raised. I just found I could not eat factory farmed meat and eggs at all. I am on a pretty strict food budget, but make this way of eating work by buying from Misfits Market (great quality meat and seafood) and Walmart. As an obese woman I do struggle with how much or little to eat, I am trying to really listen to my body and only eat when I am hungry, but sometimes fail at that both in eating too little and sometimes too much, though I think I am getting better little by little. I am going to try cooking more in advance to have leftovers as you suggested, that’s a great idea. And I am going to try some of your meal ideas as well. Thanks again!🙏🏼

Cold browned butter is even better!
@cherylh4688
@cherylh4688 Год назад
Mmmm. I'm going to try it with browned butter too. Sounds yummy! I just want to share that I always cook a single rasher of bacon in my small air fryer first, then eat the bacon, lol, & pour the oil into my frying pan to cook my ground meats and fish in. But I also pour that fat over my meat when done and eat it all, without issue! So hopefully that means my body is tolerating fats well, even tho' my stools still float (but are not too soft). I also still add butter too, though, and always cold, bc I thought it might be healthier that way. I didn't realize it also helps with tolerating it! But even with cold butter, if I'm bored, for instance, and start to eat too much butter, I can start to feel a little queasy; yet I just assumed that was only bc I ate too much. I will have to watch more closely now to see if maybe it actually happens only when I have had a lot of hot, rendered fat! Also, i follow the protocol of a doctor whose name I forget, but who recommends 1 stick of butter for every pound of meat, esp for her patients with lots of health issues! That also translates to approximately 1 Tbsp butter for every 10 gm protein, btw, and so far, this rule of thumb has been working well for me.

Made some ground beef and butter, stood up to get more coffee and my 5 year old who acts like meat is evil ( she eats a couple bites because I make her) just snuck up to my plate and started helping herself. I told her it's better with butter and she started dipping it in the soft butter. *winning*

Bella, thank you for the great tips and tricks to help so many of us in our carnivore journey. One thing I do with the hamburger grease is save it until I have enough and then and melt it with an equal amount of butter. I then freeze it in little silicone molds. I call it my beef fat butter. If I have drippings from air frying steak, that goes in there too. Makes a tasty fat snack!

I created a super quick, easy, delicious, carnivore, keto recipe. No need to spend time peeling the eggs. No guess work. The whites are always solid and the yolks are always runny. Very quick and easy. Melt 60 grams of Kerrygold butter in a small saucepan, then remove it from the heat. Break six eggs into the pan of melted butter, but don’t break the yolks. Cover the pan and cook over medium heat. A pan with a glass lid works best. When the whites are solid, pour everything into a bowl. Season as desired. Enjoy!

1st, loved the spontaneous musical break, haha. 2nd, I've been enjoying your content as I've made the decision to go carnivore after reading the book, The Carnivore Code. It's so not what we're told from such a young age, I remember my sister eating a whole stick of butter as a kid and getting scolded for it. I myself also find it amusing as I've always had a taste for butter and what some would normally consider an "over-user" of butter. Come to find out I've been subconsciously prepping. Thank you for the content, as I'm finding it not only enjoying but very helpful.

If you google it you'll find that the smoke point is 350 for butter and 482 for Ghee or clarified butter [which is easy to make and far less expensive than the insane price for Ghee]. This means I can put a crust on a 1" thick ribeye by cooking it for three minutes per side at ~482 in a stainless steel sauce pan and have a beautiful medium rare middle.

I buy the Kirkland grassfed 4-pack for $9.99 at Costco, so that is $2.50 per block. Tastes as good as Kerrygold IMO. Kerrygold at Costco is $12 per 4-pack, or $3 per block (8 oz). FYI, but I bet you know that because you shop WAY more often than I do. BTW, I buy many packs and freeze them. Never had an off taste from frozen quality butter! Thanks for your videos! ❤

Dear Bella, this was so insightful and eye opening, thank you for always making sure you do not make any ambiguous statements, but qualify everything you say with a real life illustration or an example. Thank you for bringing Doctor Bright into our homes. I heard her before and found it all amazing, you however, brought her right into my kitchen and right onto my table.
