Based on a Harvard study, serotonin is meant cause weight loss. Cortisol is said to be repressed, with an increase in serotonin. Also, serotonin enhances the production of dopamine, which in turn suppresses the cortisol levels from increasing.
I love your videos, but you speak so fast that it's hard to follow or take notes. Slow your roll bro. I love your insights. Keep the videos coming. Very informative ❤
I always think the moment someone recomends suplements, on one hand, we are doing something wrong if we require pills, and on the other I only see an Ad, not a recomendation.
im skinny loosing weight uroination all the time ... I work out no sugar no refine carbs ... high cortisol lvls in recent blood work ...Nucleic asid is my thooughts to help or should i avoid nucleic acid
im no endocrinologist, but i thought cortisol increases fat breakdown into fatty acid via gluconeogenesis, lipolysis, and a few others. therefore high cortisol is stimulated (in the lack of presence of glucose or in presence of perceived threat) -
watch the documentary "Fat Head". It's about how the CSPI changed our cooking oil with alts that are probably cheaper. The catch 22 is, it's not natural for our bodies to process those seed/vegetable oils in those quantities. These oils will affect your insulin system. I suggest 1 fish oil pill a day to counteract the inflammation caused by these oils. And eat anything that has omega-3 fatty acid. Also, cook with coconut oil, beef tallow, or any other oils that have high omega-3's. Or that at least don't include the omega-6 fatty acid, like vegetable oil. Also, switch to keto bread when possible, if you haven't already. If you eat gluten in something like frozen foods, take a fiber supplement like Metamucil. You don't want that sticking in your system.
Isn’t blue light like heavily regarded as one of the worst things for sleep? You’re supposed to not have any blue light from 30 minutes to 2 hours before bed because it wakes you up and shit and fucks with your circadian rhythm
@@tinocabral4201 there’s been some new studies that shows that minor to none effects take place. The original study was flawed, and then the rumour just sprouted out with no real evidence. It is still always good to avoid if you can I guess but it won’t make you fat or make you become an insomniac 😂💀
@@Midnight_HangoutsMaybe it's like the opposite of a placebo? But the luminance of the light matters. Closer to the luminance value for daylight will make you feel like it's daytime.
@@juliamanning2658 he sounds smart and uses scientific phrases that seem to make sense because he says it with such confidence but in reality he extending the truth. E.g. exercise also produces dopamine but he doesn't say that...
@@juliamanning2658 another example. Cortisol does increase with the exercise he describes acutely but studies have shown that after that the baseline level of cortisol is lower. Those that do regular exercise do respond better (lower cortisol) in stressful situations like exams and interviews. But he only focuses on the short term straight after exercise.
I see. But it's not total gibberish. Getting sunlike, going for walks, eating real food is good advice. Makes me feel better. I guess it's the same with all channels some things mentioned are good something's not. It's work works for oneself in the end.
Cortisol helps burn fat and carbs, but increases appetite. Lowering cortisol isn't the goal; taming your hunger is. Too much cortisol leads to decreased testosterone and ability to burn calories.
This is misinformation. The reason people don’t lose weight is because if their calorie intake, little to none to do with cortisol or any other hormone.
