This video will ONLY interest Triumph Tiger 1200 riders.
I demonstrate how to adjust the electronic suspension, to decrease the pre-load of the rear suspension unit and provide better control when garaging/parking/town riding etc.
In brief, access the Riding Modes section, select ‘Rider’ mode, select the ‘Off-Road’ map, ensure you select the ‘TC’ (traction control) section and select ‘Road’ to switch it ON, then select the ‘ABS’ section and do the same. By using the ‘Rider’ option to select your preferences, this will allow you to change from other road modes and into the ‘Rider’ mode at will, even when you are riding the motorcycling.
DO NOT just select the ‘Off-Road’ mode, as this defaults to TC & ABS ‘OFF’.
ALSO, I suggest that you only use this option at slower speeds in town, approaching your garage, approaching a car park etc…as lowering the suspension will change the geometry and I found that the motorcycle under-steered on corners with this setup….so try this option with due care.
