Welcome to my channel, I mainly focus on touring vids, rather than a huge quantity of general videos.
The channel name was changed to 'Yarro Moto' on 15/06/20 from 'PJY Motorcycling'. So, there are some legacy issues with the former channel name on earlier vids...but there's not a lot I can do about this, sorry.
I'm also a long standing member of the UK motorcycle club PEMC.co.uk, if you are interested in reasonably priced, organised but self-guided UK & European trips.
I have written touring guides for the 'MadorNomad' website with downloadable links to the daily riding routes - www.madornomad.com/the-ultimate-alps-motorcycle-route-guide/ www.madornomad.com/corsica-and-sardinia-motorcycle-travel-guide/ www.madornomad.com/the-ultimate-pyrenees-motorcycle-route-guide/ Greece too...but no more space here for link

Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, if I have made an error in the name, I cannot change the text later...sorry. When are you going to Scotland, with a group of riders? All the best. Paul.
@@YarroMoto sorry - I was beeing too germanic on this one. Heading back to Scotland (had to break the travels 2 weeks ago) straight after the bmw days in Garmisch beginning of July. I ride alone… and I enjoy it. Stoping every evening in some other location, chating with locals in pubs makes the journey exciting. Plus I am a slow driver. This time I want to spend more time after the ferry in Cumbria as it amazes me a lot. and finaly giving a shot to east Scotland. Dear Paul please shoot more videos, I do like them a lot!! all the best currently from Prague. Frank
@@frantisekwagner9323 The next trip vids to film, will be the, 'Crieff Cloverleaf' Scotland routes in July; then a similar to the tour in 2022 but different, Sept trip to 'Picos, Portugal & Pyrenees'. Keep watching! Paul.
Thanks David, feeling sore & myopic this morning and signed off for two weeks! I have about 6 weeks to fully recover before that trip. Three of us, have booked into a Crieff B&B at same time as your tour, so, I'm sure we'll bump into each other then.
Feedback on camera, sound Muffled, video quality good as expected apart from sky not sure is this due to ISO setting, hope op goes to plan, have you never tried running GoPro from a power bank, I put mine in a top jacket pocket, runs all day no issues at all.
That’s useful feedback and you are not the only person to mention sound quality…I thought my speech sounded clearer…maybe I need to get my ears done too😂. I was so pleased to find an audio setup that actually worked, that I pushed out that vid. I’ll test the Gain settings in different positions next. Will look at your sky comment too. I was on the verge of going back to the GoPro for audio but think I’m onto something and prefer the DJI. Tried power bank in pocket with GP but find a couple of batts usually cover a day, if I’m selective. Once again, thank you, appreciate the feedback. So, let me know when you hear the next one🤔
Hi Alan, I forgot to ask about your ‘sky’ comment. Did you feel it looked too bright, too saturated or something? I did uplift the overall look of footage but with the same filter that I normally use🤔.
@@YarroMoto Hi do they call it blown out 🤔 where the whites are too white and not allowing the blue to show, not sure if it's iso, I know it's not an easy task for the camera to adjust between the darks on dash and sky, one last as your video ended was you Rutland area.
@@alanoswin8827I checked and the filter I use doesn’t seem to make any difference to the sky, when I tab it off/on…think it was just an odd sky? Let me know in next vid and I’m going to make the voice audio slightly enhanced. 👍 Paul.
at 50 i had a Cataract in each eye, altered me diet and at 64years of age they're evidently almost gone according to last months eye test :). Hope all goes well for yah
Firstly, I apologise if you notice that the secondary footage has ‘slipped’ and is shortly behind the main footage. Secondly, please check your playback settings are 1080p HD, to get the best viewing quality. Great content as usual. I dream of attaining your level of filming and editing so could I ask that you stop speeding up sections as it does make my eyes go funny.
Nice vids, just about to pull the trigger on a 1200 GT Pro, just wondered what tank range in miles you are getting out of the Tiger and have you got used to the vibrations, Thanks.
Hi, tank range is about 48mpg on tour, out of a 20ltr tank. I added EvoTech bar ends which has more or less eradicated the vibes…my hands were going numb before, although latest Gen5 model has rubber mounted bars I believe.
@@muz1406 I think the fuel light comes on with about 25 miles to go. Personally, I don’t use grip puppies because they make the bar diameter to large for my dainty hands😂
Great video. I’m just the other side of the Pyrenees at the most easterly part of your trip. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the vid and it’s good that you put the road numbers and place names on the screen. I wish everyone did that. Shame you can’t put a link to the GPX file for this route.
Many thanks for your exceptional vids. That you provide so much detail in terms of roads, routes, maps etc puts you in a league of your own- magnificent- Deeply appreciate your generosity in sharing your journeys-
Great video … but these glaciers are actually the water sources that feed the entire European plateaus of France Germany Italy Belgium … it is because of that huge loss in freshwater that the Rhine is drying the Seine etc etc ..! That distribute this water down to the plains of these great countries … the Rhine starts right in glacier ville lol ! Freak water and river supplies are going to be more of an issue when that last little bit on the top of the valley disappears one summer then the next …’
Hi Paul. Some great memories of a decent trip. I didn't know you had videoed the speech at the end !!! It brought back lots of fine moments we all had. Frosty.
Paul, always a treasure for this American to see the lovely European towns and countryside. How well would a Honda Gold Wing do on these trips you share with us? I see you all on Adventure bikes, would a big touring bike work, say, on the Passo Stelvio, things like that? Thanks again for taking the time to share. Until the next time!
Hi, probably not the Stelvio but it’s pretty overrated IMO, there are loads of better Cols to ride. Several club members tour on their Goldwings actually. Thanks for watching and commenting Sir👍
