If I wanted to change the shocks, what shocks or struts would you recommend? I really don’t know. Don’t want to put on stock again with lowering springs. So which shocks would you recommend
hey brother, if your reading this, just wanted to know does your tyres rub the inner wheel guard when you do a full lock or like a 3 point turn after lowering or even before lowering? and also how much mm was the drop with those springs front and back? cheers my man
Yes the fronts is the same process but after the shock & spring is out you just put your coilover in. Actually easier than removing the spring ect. For the rear it depends if the new suspension is spring over shock or just a new spring.
Will the factory struts and shocks be ok with the lowering springs. I have a 2016 IS200T with 17in rims. I want to use the factory rims and tires but lower the car and install spacers to bring out the tires flush with the body of the car.
@@perryseidler434 yes they will be. Most of the lowering springs out there are designed to work with factory shocks. It's just when you start dropping ride height in large amounts you reduce your travel on the shock.
