how many drops of 105g0 should one apply for how many springs? Is there a general rule of thumb?

It really depends, I usually keep dropping and using my fingers to push the springs around in the bag till I see that it coats all the springs well before shaking the bag.

I tried comparing lubed vs not lubed, lubed feels smooth, however it got heavy, i had to give a bit more strength to completely push it compared to the unlubbed one

Im guessing you have to to this more than once in your life (depending on how long you keep it ofc). So how often do you have to re-lube the keys? Im thinking about getting in to custom keyboards so im very new to this 😅

Unless you expose your switch to 200 degrees celcius , your fine 😅

I got the Zwei series switch opener with Kailh compatibility on one side and cherry compatibility on the other

switch opener used was the Zwei series switch opener with Kailh compatibility on one side and cherry compatibility on the other

That would depend on the pcb, not the switch (sometimes). Lubing does not change anything

Yes, I put 205g0 on the springs of switches - works well, put a light coat and see how it feels before doing them all 😅

Hi, I have 2 questions: - Is this the V2 or V3 Kangwhite? Any differences? - Does Kangwhite sw solve the interference issue of Cherry profile?

Its a V3! For me personally i do not feel any interference with oem and cherry profiles but to be safe i wld recommend using other profile keycaps.

@@Joelhzy tks! However im a social content writer so cherry is the most comfort one for me so far. Tried XDA once but it's too slippery thus my acc. is quite low tho...

Understandable! Honestly kang white v3s work well with cherries so it shld be fine.

I think you should also watch on how to upload a decent youtube resolution for your videos. 480p just ain't cutting it anymore.

Anyways, thanks for the advise. Currently filming off an Iphone 12 and i dont have money to upgrade my recording set up, especially since youtube is just a side hobby.

Personally I don’t like lubing the top housing, I feel like there’s no actual benefit and it just adds more chance of overlubing the switch, however great explanation

Thank you:) I put a very small amount on the top housing, anyways if i do overlube, a few months in and it shld break in perfectly
