This part about checking if you're not still asleep is important. A few times I have remembered to write my dreams down, and then after waking up I realized that I haven't written anything at all.

I’m going to be humble and call myself a beginner and say that I’ve been lucid dreaming since 2023 of February. During that time up until December, I was really on and off about lucid dreaming and the information and sources I would use were not the most credible and were really hype and twaddle information. In December 2023 I started watching your videos primarily for my sources due to them being the most credible/entertaining. For my birthday in February, my dad got me your book as one of my request and I have just finished it as of late (really good book by the way). One of the main things I struggle with is that I do get lucid 2 to 4 times a month for the past six months sadly those lucid dreams only last about less than five seconds due to me either waking up or false awakening, and thinking I’m awake. I’m going to ask how long should it take for what I believe to be a shock on the system to wear of, but I feel like the most honest answer for that is it’s different for everybody.

@Robogobo3125 I got a tip a while back that worked for me. Stay calm and get on your hands and knees and feel around. Typically, my brain would kick me out as soon as I went lucid. That allowed me to stay. Was told it solidifies the dream.

Random observation. Walking outside at dusk seems to be a good time to do reality checks because it is seemingly easier to consider the possibility you might be dreaming. It’s like you’re more psychologically susceptible.

Hey, just to feed your algorithm… almost all you videos are targeted to beginners. Have you considered posting any advanced techniques or sharing some of your lucid dream experiences that lead to meaningful changes in your daily life? I’m sure people would love to hear about this.

The podcast is geared towards higher level stuff to some degree but I've thought the same thing. I think he tries to focus members-only stuff on that because his average one-time viewer will want to skip to the advanced stuff and get frustrated for a lack of doing the basics correctly. Maybe I'm wrong
@LucidDreamPortal
@LucidDreamPortal 3 месяца назад
Samuel is right, I try to keep that stuff member only, the times I've released more advanced stuff it negatively impacts the channel so I prefer to release it only to those who I know are genuinely committed to the subject.

Almost finished your book and watched most of your videos. Love your work. Had 8 short ( 1 above 5 minutes) lucid dreams this month. (more than double up since last month). All of them are DILDS. WIlds not really working until now... very hard to fall a sleep when staying focus. Keep up the good work!!!!

You’re probably using the WILD technique the hard way, as most people do. This is why falling asleep while using WILD is very difficult for many. The mistake is that people think they need to focus intensely, but this prevents them from falling asleep. You must use less of your focus when doing WILD, or it becomes very challenging.

I wish I had started my journey with these types of videos where I had a layout. To be fair, the start of my journey was still relatively good, but it became confusing on what I should/shouldn't be doing due to terms and information placed in different areas. This is a really great video for beginners! I still feel like a beginner at times although I've been in this journey for almost 3 and a half years. Periods when lucidity is hard to achieve are frustrating and can cause any momentum to stop, but videos like this one are good refreshers to just make things more simple. I know I tend to overcomplicate some of my processes and going back to simple processes not only helps in terms of lucidity, but also in terms of stress. Great video and had to cut the comment short a little bit - headache happening. Even though I'm probably out of beginner territory, these videos aimed at beginners are always a joy to watch!

I actually learned to control my dreams and I’ve always been a big anime and super hero fan my technique is whenever I go to bed I will remind myself the next time that I dream I’ll be aware I’m in a dream then when I become aware in the dream I look down at my arm and pinch myself and if it doesn’t hurt I realize I’m in a dream and no matter the environment I can develop super hero powers and when I finally became lucid in my dreams it’s so cool I’m still a beginner can only do it maybe once a week but when I go in the dream I can literally fly around or swing like Spider-Man or throw lightning out of my hands and just do crazy stuff and it legitimately feels real like you are doing all those things and I’d recommend learning how to lucid dream because when you do it’s so much fun.

You can google this or reddit it but. I was on lyrica for a while for nerve pain, it opened a universe of lucid dreaming, there were smells, I could feel the wind on my face, it looked better than my eyes can see irl. Man I miss it, yet I've read if your prone to nightmares it's a living hell. Wish I could do it naturally, thats why I'm here coz i know it can be done.

On the 20th we had a vivid lucid dream after meditating together we fell asleep with ourselves. Multiple of us were both in, and experiencing the dream at the same time. We were so excited we shared what it was on TikTok after awakening but someone said we were lying, probably because the content of the dream was EXTREMELY spiritual and also extremely erotic/sexual simultaneously… We’re proud of ourself for having a lucid dream. We were SHOOK by it.
