Good tips. Learned that I need to have hip flexion. I have a home gym and I have a leg curl attachment for my bench - better than nothing but not as good as a dedicated piece of equipment. Still, my bench does have a decline and I can prop up my middle with a roll pad or something. Thanks!

Almost every time I do this exercise, my gastrocnemius hurts and feel like a cramp. I will try your technique next time I do this lying hamstring curl. Is there any extra advice you would like to give me for my gastrocnemius cramp problem?😄

The cue of not rushing out of the bottom will be a huge help with that. As well as, keeping your foot position neutral & not flexing at the ankle or pointing your toes out.

What if the pad is sliding up the calves (into knees direction) when I do the movement? Is it a bad machine setup? I am doing the curls slowly...

It could be an issue with your positioning, make sure that your knee is in-line with the pivot joint.

Just curious, does she not like to train glutes? Because, her upper body is excellent. Great video btw.

Being short seems to make it a bit more difficult to feel like you're in the right position for this machine, boo 🥲 How do you know how much weight to lift? For example, if it's reeaaally hard for me to always get that last 15 degrees of contraction, should I lower the weight?
@PhysiqueDevelopment
@PhysiqueDevelopment 2 года назад
Good question! Our recommendation would be to choose a load/weight that you can get a full range of motion through most of your sets/reps. If by the end of your last set, your last few reps are a partial range of motion, that is perfectly fine.
