I have a carpet cleaning bussines, ive been doing carpet cleaning for 4 years but only have my own bussines for about 6 months , i do carpet cleaning, carpet repair, water extractions, air duct cleaning and other stuff and i make around 200$-800$ a day. I love my job and work

The boss was really rude with us and he was racist and ive always wanted to carpet cleaning so i saved up 20k to buy my own truck mount and equipment and tools
Hi, I was also thinking about starting my own carpet cleaning business. Is there any type of certification or license that you did before you did your first job?
@@karlhalonen9614 no not really . As long as your truck mount / van is insured you should be good . There is also classes you can take to learn more about the ph levels of carpet , water extractions , mold and much more stuff .
I’ve done this my self. Set up an LLC for $50 for taxes. Get some business cards. Cleaning supplies are cheap. I used to make $15-25 in about thirty minutes. Sounds like a good use of time for me. Urban and suburban areas are great for this
Very cool and easy to start business. Just accept cash only so there's no permits or licenses to get, use about 1 tablespoon of Dawn Dish Liquid (15 grams) to 1 gallon (4 liters) of water and buy a squeegee and microfiber brush and you are ready to go.
After commiting an entire day towards finding customers, I only made 40 bucks. How do you manage to find so many customers and keep finding them consistently
@@outofit303 Depends on the area mostly. Large newer suburbs are especially great for finding customers. Make up some business cards and some professional apparel to make yourself stand out.
Awesome video! I knew a guy we called "Window Washer Daryl," when I was homeless. He ALWAYS had money! He did it all on a bike, and I'm going to do the same. I have no problem approaching business owners. Your comprehensive review of all the other gear I will upgrade to is priceless. Thank you Bro!
Great video. Another great side hustle that can make you $1000 a day easy is Pressure Washing. Another good one that kind of has to do with pressure washing /masonry cleaning is masonry sealing toward fall. You can make $6000 a day doing that. Also masonry maintenance and decorative concrete coatings pulls in some good money.
I recently graduated hs, didn’t go to college & been working a 9-5 since. I HATE it Lmao. I’ve been looking at hustles & i think window cleaning & power washing are the best options. Any tips? Any recommendations?
Reyes!!!! Whoa I never thought I would have the pleasure of receiving a comment from you! That just made my year :) Thank you for what you've done for the entrepreneur community here on RU-vid. I look forward to being able to impact as many people as you have had the honor of impacting so far. If ever possible I would love to do an interview with you and share with my audience your great insights. Keep on hustling brother!
@@strongtv_creator yes for sure! My biggest challenge was buying the company from my brother and learning to run it. I mainly do commercial accounts now and have scaled back for the time being.
This is great I am 32 and i just starting my window and solar cleaning business. I've had not experience but I have cleaned private jets and helicopters for the last 3 years .I wanted to start my own business and thought this would be great as I have always wanted to do window cleaning
I did this for years! professionally window washing Vons and Ralph stores. We would do around 10 stores per night, however I worked for someone. We also did houses on the weekends. I can do the job and am now interesting on starting my own business any help on the legal side would be appreciated. What permits or insurance do I need?
Amazing video. Thanks for sharing the tips. I'm in the process of starting my own cleaning business. Just doing as much research as possible. I'm trying to start of by doing residential cleaning and maybe commercial later on. But my concern is People will most likely will be afraid to let me in their homes because of the Covid-19
Just work 12 hours and you'll make 2g 😳😂. He can't tell you any of that information you asked about bc he hasn't made that kinda money window cleaning, he's hoping us people that are trying to start up our own business will watch his video so he can make money from RU-vid. He doesn't work with his hands! He made no mention of having a D.B.A and registering it, and a zoning determination for home occupancy from The Building Commissioner of their town, or insurances! He's what I would call a fake!! Nobody can make $2000.00 a week and only have to work 12 hours just kicking off their business. When I heard him say that, he lost me!!
Thanks for watching! Really hope that there is some value in this video for others out there. You've got a great channel as well keep up the hustle brother. Whats been your favorite side hustle so far?
What if i dont have a ladder/ want to be on one due to health conditions? Is it possible to make good money staying on the ground?? Do you have a video about how to market?? Ideal clients??
Its a great business with huge margins, low hours, little investment. Makes for a great side hustle. I get that haha we live in a Desert state as well so the heat during the summer season is excruciating so we would only wash in the early hours of the day and late in the evenings.
I am starting up a Ventilation system and mainly Dryer Vent business and have added commercial/residential windows but need some pointers on how to gain more clientele. I have a website and Facebook page for my dryer cleaning business but need help man.... I've got the plan together, the materials already, i just need help in the marketing point. if any one has any ideas for me PLEASEEEEEE chime in. anything is better than nothing but imma watch a lot more of your vids man. keep grinding sir!
Hello, I Thank you very much for the very interesting and informative Video. I Thought really well of making an own Window Cleaning Buisness but i have one Question. I Live in Switzerland and here in Summer its often Raining for like 15min, so what are you doing if it is Raining while you are cleaning windows at a Customers House? I thank you forward for the Reply and wish everyone a Nice Day
I’m independent through a company they send me 3 jobs every day the night before. In south Florida currently bringing 800 a week. I need to go solo though
I only have £10 in my wallet. Today i'm planning to go out and start doing house-to-house window cleaning. I have ladder, a bucket, and fiber cloths in the house, so that's free, I just need to buy chemicals, sponge, and a small squeegee. will only charge around £5 to £10 a house, which is way cheaper than any competition around. wish me luck! :D
Awesome! Love the motivation you have to make this side hustle work for you. Use vinegar, water, and dish soap as your solution so you don't have to spend a lot of money it works incredibly well. I'll be releasing multiple videos about starting a window washing business such as the marketing and how to upsell each job so make sure to subscribe :)
If you go bidding & getting jobs cheap you are lowering the value of your work and the window cleaning community. Get paid what the job is worth and what you are worth...
We’ll be making a new video about this soon! And we’ll link it in that one! We’re gonna make a website for all our templates as well! So make sure to stay subscribed!
It does actually take a little bit time to learn the skills. But you'll never unlearn them, and you can always practice for free at your own house. Also a lot of video's on youtube providing helpful tips and tricks.
I feel like this has good upsell value as well. I mean you can do there windows of course but then you can also offer to do extra services or more windows like car windows etc. then there could also be tips and stuff old people can be quite generous.
@@diffsnicker4664 are you doing window washing ? I’m starting my gutter and window cleaning business soon. My first business ever I’m excited / nervous
@@Catalan_Giants I actually switched my idea over to power washing any property needed and gutter cleaning, currently waiting for my business license to be approved Thankyou for asking bro !
It's a very simple business with very very little overhead, which is why I went into it. I'll be walking those who want to know all the way through it.
Q Window Cleaning My position is that it does not take skill to BEGIN but I do agree that it takes skill in the long run to become very successful in this industry and that can only come by means of Time as you mentioned. The information presented is to help inspire others to just START and stop making excuses if this is something they want to pursue. Thanks for watching :)
What a f*****g cool idea is that?! Thanks for this man! :-) You seem to really know what you are talking about! Just found your channel and by the way congratulations for 1000 subscribers! Thats a huge step!

Hey Frank! Thanks for watching glad to have you as part of the community. I'll be putting out multiple videos going over the entire process on how to start, tips, tricks, tools and of course the marketing aspect of how to get clients. It's a great side hustle that will hopefully help some people get ahead
If you don't need any money to get started, then why did your first squeegee & BOAB cost you about $40? Also, as someone that has been in the business almost 20 years, I can tell you that you should seek out some training. Even if it's just RU-vid Vids... I've attempted to train many and only few pick up the art. If you think owning a bucket & a squeegee makes you a window cleaner, you are sorely mistaken. You can't honestly say that there is any job out there that some training isn't required. Don't even get me started on cheap Vs. Good ladders & OSHA safety guidelines. Oh... then insurance... There is no business where there is no overhead and no risk.
I titled it this way because I did not purchase my first materials with my OWN money. I truly had $0 of my own money. I went to a local credit union and got a credit card with a $2,000 limit on. To start this business I leveraged other peoples money (the banks money). Before buying ladders I went out spent $20 on fliers put those out, got about 8 calls that first week, 6 people accepted my bids then once they accepted the bid I went out and bought that ladder, the brush, soap, towels, spray bottle and squeegee all on credit. With the profits from 2 of the houses I was able to pay off that credit balance within days. So yes this is a business that I started with money however I started it with $0 of my own personal money and instead leveraged someone else money. I hope that explanation gives perspective on the title. Most certainly, I would agree for others to watch RU-vid videos on Technique and practice on their own videos that’s exactly how I did it and that is how I had my employees do it before coming onboard. Every job requires training and experience to excel in. With that being said you do not need to be an expert before starting, the important thing is just to START and continue to hone your skills just as you would in any other profession. And I agree there are always superior ladders, equipment, and product that can be used over other “cheaper” stuff. As long as it meets OSHA safety guidelines and is suitable for the job site I am fine with using it even if its “cheaper” than other equipment/products on the market. Every business is going to have some overhead thats a given. My point in sharing this path with others is to show them that they can start, operate, and maintain a business with little money and little on going costs. There are great cost efficient bond and insurance companies on the market for window cleaners and I’ll be sharing some of those tips later on for others. Thanks for watching!

Hey bro I help fund construction and remodeling companies in case your ever in need of some extra capitol for expansion purposes through me you can obtain 300k in less than 48 hours no credit check all that’s needed to qualify is proof of income
if your cleaning windows with zero skill as a cleaner then you are gonna have to work over 100 hours a week to make your 2 grand cuz it takes skill and time and effort to be a really good window cleaner. i b been cleaning windows for 17 years and 2 k a week is still not an easy thing to do
@@methulimkhize it feels like something that really takes a while and a good location to get started, but it seems like it could be good if you have the time to dedicate and plan it.
Can someone please answer this for me???? Will I get in trouble for soliciting and going door to door promoting my new window cleaning bussiness? Any advice would help thank you!
So I am really wanting to start this, my only worry is most things like getting a car needs you to have proof of income, usually they want you to be employed. Is there a way around this?
It's a side hustle at first, not your main job . Gotta have 1 main job to help you pay for supplies to start and also like you mentioned to get a vehicle
Thanks for watching. Yep started with $0 of my OWN money. So yes this is a business you can start with No Personal Money and rather leverage other peoples money. Hope that helps :)
Hahahahhahahahha hey guys real fast .... if ur an ... hhahahhahahaha loser!!!!!!$$$!!!! Yeah so skilled it seems like u get soooooooo much hahahhahaahaaaaaaa
For this service based business I charge a one-time cleaning fee. Hours are irrelevant, they are paying for my skill, knowledge, and detailed service. I do sometimes make specials for repeat customers.
I disagree strongly when he says "it takes no skill". That is so untrue and BS. It is an incredibly underrated and under appreciated CRAFT. There are so many often overlooked details, nuances and time-saving tricks and procedures involved. Yes it's not learning brain surgery, but there is WAAAY more than meets the eye as you first start getting your feet wet - figuratively and literally. There's a great divide from the premier top talent down to the side hustlers and average Joes. I'm sure man y a highly trained and experienced washer/cleaner would be rather insulted from that remark.
I’ve never brought my own water unless working on a new build home without access to water. In those situations I bring 5 gallon buckets with caps filled with water. Otherwise my clients have never minded if I use their hose to fill up my buckets.
Of course you can, the trick is if they look doubtful, tell them ‘I know I’m young, but I’ll take payment afterwards and if you’re not happy with my work I won’t charge you’ - take that line from someone who’s got 10 years experience in sales, it will work.
