Happy Holidays my friend! Today we are out here setting up Christmas lights.
Holiday lights are a great way to make some extra cash and its a super simple skill that can literally make you thousands of extra bucks over the next couple weeks.
Anybody who has a ladder can start hanging lights and adding this into your business for a few weeks and make some extra money to buy some awesome gifts for everyone...
One thing I didn't mention in the video is most houses need 150 total feet of lights for just the front gutters. 200 total feet for the gutters plus the top ridge, and in this video I believe for every eave, ridge, and gutters was around 350 feet total and its pretty big so keep that in mind.
Enjoy the video and as mentioned if you want to dive deeper into this topic my brand new book all about this topic is still just $7 for a limited time, learn how to start making $100-200 per hour 👇

You're absolutely right, Spencer, about this service being an add-on bonus. You're the perfect man for the job--you know roofs like the back of your hand and you have the equipment to make it happen. Brilliant endeavour to branch out, yet again, with the services you have to offer. Cheers! Darryl

Hey Spencer. I know this video is from last year but did you use all of the lights and supplies from the beginning of the video for that specific house? Just trying to get a ballpark idea of how much it’ll cost.

Spencer man you gotta charge more! Also, I would order commercial grade supplies. Much brighter and will give you the Confidence when charging premium price is knowing that you supply the best of the best equipment. Down in Portland I’m charging eight to $10 a foot. That job would’ve been well over two grand

You seem to have to confidence and all the skills to charge much more, easily a $1200-$2200 job right there

Seriously bro! ... I'm on the lower end at $5/ ft (+tax) and use only commercial grade. I would have still at least profited $1200. I used to be higher but too much cheap labor guys in my area who are really just pricing the business model right out of the market. Their quality of product and service sucks but then you gotta re-train the buyers into thinking about "getting what you pay for"; especially when the product is sub-par. Also, leasing program is the only way to go. Anyways, I still needed to come down a little in price but when I got into the business years ago, I would have cleared 2 grand on that job. I'm not doing houses without clearing a grand each though, so my pricing still closes deals. I wish I could still price mine over $6/ft.

I’m not sure how insurance works on cleaning gutters, can you please help me or make a video about it? I don’t wanna go in someone’s roof without it. It’s like the only thing stopping me right now. Thanks!

I love it my friend. However, you are losing out on a lot of money. go after premium cliental and charge premium prices. I am at 10 -12 dollars a linear ft, so $3500 for that house you did. You get half upfront and half day of service. All charged on cc on file automatically.
