Someone know if there is any way to keep the skybox still. It keeps moving when you move your head and that can make you a little dizzy

Great tutorial! Would it be difficult to do the same with Gazed Based Interactions (on a fixed Play Button)? Or have the play button disappear after a few seconds so it does not cover up the 360 video?

I don't think it would be too hard to do either. I'm not sure about the Gazed approach though. I'm too poor to buy a quest pro to test that one out 😂

Of course! Keep in mind that since it's a video you're only getting 3dof, which means you cannot walk around (and if you try you might get disoriented). I know some people who get pretty sick when watching 3dof videos, so you may want to advise people to stay still and only turn their head as an accessibility precaution. Other than that they're pretty cool since you can get pretty looking scenes/skyboxes without rendering anything in real-time. For VR stereoscopic video is better than just a pano since you'll also be getting depth perception and things will look less flat. This may also help alleviate motion sickness to people who are prone to it. Not really sure how non-stereoscopic video looks in VR myself, probably not great

@@mathiolia5877 I've never used meta xr sdk so I can't give much insight, though I believe it's quest only so you should only use it if you don't plan to port to other platforms. XR interaction toolkit is cross compatible and can easily be ported to any platform, so that's a plus. Again I'm not aware of functionality differences, though if you aren't sure I think your safest bet is xr interaction toolkit as it's fairly competent and has good documentation
