Hi Theo love this theam, thanks for all the wonderful and valuable information you give . Can this theam be used for an affiliate marketing website or is it to much . Should that kind of site have a more simple theam? Can you please respond ? Thank you so much i really appreciate you and James
This is a great video James. Is this theme better than Sidney which I have had in my favorites for years 👏👏👏 BTW the website would be for a small business.
Thank you for your reply. There's something I've been meaning to ask of those who work within WP (I don't. I'm a designer using XD mostly). It has never been made clear to me why there is the need for both the Theme and the Page Builder? It seems that the Theme sticks you with headers and footers (that may be tedious and may conflict with the design prototype), while the page builder does the yeoman's share of the actual building of the website. Great if you could explain. Best to you.
Thank you for an awesome video. I am following along step by step ... except I am doing draft rather than publish until I get the results I want. However, every title seems to have some motion attached to it. I have tried changing to none and saving draft ... but it still persists. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
James, is there a way to do layers like in design software? Say, if you have a gradient background for most of the homepage, how are images and test overlayed? Thanks.
Within Elementor.. for example the header image you click the six dots to edit the section then click on style then go down to background overlay and then you can adjust the gradient and opacity there.
The link to the free image pack doesn't work for me either. Great video, but I can't continue till I can access the image pack download. I will be on pins and needles till it's available, as this is fantastic training! Thank you so much...
@@howtobuildawebsite11 Thanks so much, James. You da man! Nobody teaches how to build a website better than you and your team. i have been extremely ill for months but am now attempting to get working on the computer again, as it is about the only thing I can do at the ripe old age of 82. I really love trying to build websites, and I recently used your link to sign up with Hostgator again. I had to cancel my service with them months ago, because I was unable to work on my computer due to illness. I'm going to spend what time I have remaining keeping busy with something I love to do. I appreciate all the efforts of you and your team to help folks like me.
Love it! You’re a great example of what’s possible anybody can do this regardless of their circumstances you just have to want it bad enough! We love creating this content and I’m so pleased that you enjoy it get well soon! James
Hello James the video was really great but you didn't taught us about blog sections, you only covered the home about and contact section!! so for blog we have to follow the same method you did for home, about and contact page??pls do reply
In settings where you set home page and post page ..create a new page for blog and save that to the menu. Then this becomes your blog and any post that you create can be found when you click on blog.
amazing tutorial, can you please help me if I can get the header like the logo, tagline and menus in the center rather then in the side. I want a simple white centre header
Honestly there’s a reason why the menus to the right like that ...I would not set your website with the menu in the center, you want people to focus on the content, not the menu.
Hi, I followed the video perfectly but later when i added a blog page I now have a plain blog page that looks bad compared to the rest of my site :(. Is there any way I can do the same thing for the blog page, thanks.
How do I remove the Sydney theme that I uploaded a few years ago? I just downloaded the OceanWP theme and it shows an error that says the toolbox from Sydney is only meant for Sydney. I cant see any of my OceanWP pages. Thanks
I am still waiting for the pinterest drainage blog or website beginner tutorial You have forgotten that these tutorials are repeated. I hope you can remember.
