Homemade blueberry comb / picker from scrapwood and old bicycle tire spokes.
It works ok - about 3-4 times faster than pure handpicking. But also there are 4 times more leaves and green berries inside your bucked which you have to sort out. Squeezed berries didn’t seem to be a problem with the comb.

Работает нормально, сбор примерно в 3-4 раза быстрее, чем только руками. Но также в вашем ведре появится в 4 раза больше листьев и зеленых ягод, которые нужно перебрать. Выжатые ягоды не были проблемой для гребня.

Es funktioniert ok - etwa 3-4 mal schneller als reines Handpicking. Aber man hat auch 4 mal mehr Blätter und grüne Beeren im Pflückgut, welche aussortiert werden müssen. Zerdrückte Beeren sind kein Problem.

@beercoasterSPL: It was a pretty clear tutorial. Find yourself a box about the size you want your picker to be. Mark The box to indicate approximately where you would like to shape the mouth of your picker, and then Cut the corners of the box As well as the lines that you drew, to get the dimensions you want for a pattern. Then, when you go to make your picker, Remember, allow for the thickness of the wood when you cut your pieces. The video showed all the steps, and the last thing would be to fit it with a handle that’s comfortable for you. No need to be intimidated. If something seems a little confusing, pick the brain of a buddy who does projects all the time, the next time you’re sitting down having a mug-up.
