#replay, of course, I'm still here from the beginning. Enjoying it! I'm learning as I watch closely. I've been collecting 'stuff' to make my 1st journal. I've watched many videos and plan to watch many more. 😊 I'm am ready to make my 1st cover and signatures. Sanity of what kind will it be, cooking, cardmaking or sewing...hobbies of some sort. Thank you for teaching me what you know. Your sense of humor is happy. Your fur and feathered friends help make your channel.

You missed me accidentlly not uploading that part. My apologies. Here is the missing info: Sure! I am sorry that part was not explained properly. The technique is as follows: Here are the supplies I used.I used stencils of a tree. Here is the link: www.amazon.com/dp/B01FG34BA0/?tag=aiponsite-20&linkCode=ic5&ascsubtag=amzn1.infl.us.product&creativeASIN=B01FG34BA0&ref=exp_thepaperoutpost_dp_vv_d with this ink pad: www.amazon.com/dp/B0016287JW/?ref=exp_thepaperoutpost_dp_vv_d and this paddle brush: www.amazon.com/dp/B07VB8S43L/?ref=exp_thepaperoutpost_dp_vv_d This technique can all be done with any stencil but the metallic ink pad shows up very nicely on the black gesso. Any color ink will show up on the white gesso :) The tricolor pad offers a gold, copper and silver palette to make beautiful color changes through the stencil. I soley used the silver to act like moonlight shining through the trees with the stencil in certain spots! Its a very fun technique and very easy to do. I will do a video on it to demonstrate it better. My apologies, that part of the video was accidentally lost. Hope this helps :)

Hi! This tome is coming along really well! The other day I was watching you and your birds were screeching! I had ear buds on and the birds were loud! I have Tinnitus and any high decibels really hurt and I get a instant migraine every time. Even throwing tools around does the same thing. The metal causes a high painful pitch. Anyway, I heard your bird Holly saying hello! Absolutely too darn cute! My mom received a Myna Bird when I was young. The cage was the most beautiful cage I ever seen. It looked like the Taj Mahal. My mom was given all the stuff and the bird free. He didn’t know how to talk, so my mom is teaching it to repeat her. On the third day the priest came over to visit us and my father. So the priest goes to leave and sees the bird cage and walked over and was amazed to see such a cage and started talking to the bird. My mother chimed in and said she is training him to talk. Priest turns around to talk to my mother and father about birds. They were laughing and having a great time. That bird must of been jealous he wasn’t getting the attention. The bird let’s out this blood curdling scream! Then he starts talking-“WHAT?” OHMYGOSH! He has a mouth like a trucker! I ran, you do not swear near the family, nor the priest! The bird will not shut up!😂🤣😂My mom grabs the priests arm and drags him to the kitchen. My mom was apologizing and the priest said to my mom that he never thought my mom ever talked like that. My mom was red and trying to explain that she had the bird for only 3 days and does not talk profanity ever!😂 The priest finely understood... they all came to the conclusion the reason he was free!😂 My mom kept him till he died. It took that bird 20 years to die. I guess they live longer. I learned all the cuss words in about 20 minutes.😂 He was a great big bird. Mom and dad was going to get rid of him bc of his bad habit of cussing. They kept him and took good care of him. I thought you would get a chuckle from our bird experience.🙄😂👋

Hi. I have recently started watching your tutorials and I do enjoy very much how you teach. I love the way your journals come out. I'm going to work on making a journal out of an old book. I do have a tip (maybe you already know this, but prefer the way you do it. I don't know. But just in case, as you said you like when we share tips); instead of gluing the fabric to cover your tape on the inside spine, what I do for mine is I add the strip of cardboard I'm going to sew my signatures in to the back of the fabric, and I do mark and open the holes right then, then I sew my signatures, and then I glue all of that to the spine of the book. It is the same idea, however, you dont have to dress the cardboard or chipboard you are using because it wont show at all, just your fabric will show. New subscriber! Thanks for sharing your craft.

Greetings from the land down under (Oz)! I haven’t read all the comments, but a couple of hints I’ve picked up on the way: you can use Velcro sticky dots to stick each smooching pad to its corresponding ink pad, underneath the ink pad; with regard to the cutter you are using, I suspect that if you pull the black end off it, there is a slot there that the blade will fit into for you to break it off (no pliers needed 😁)

Hi Pam Im loving these videos. Couldnt sleep so I pulled a marathon. Just wondering if you sell your journals coz Im in love with the Tree Tome. Simply because it has flowers & the article about hair combs. I actually inherited a couple that look like a spanish señorita would wear at her wedding. They are really tall. That article reminded me of them. Now I wondering what sort of yummy pages you put in the Birdy Tome, Oh gosh now Im drooling just imaging if it has images from some beautiful old water colourist who documented all the birds from some bird island. Other people drool over chocolate. I drool over gorgous art. Call me weird... I know...lol. keep up the great work.

One of these days I'm going to tackle a big boy like this (loving all kinds of minis for now). Just wondering if that teal/blue you used on the spine would also add that verdigris look to the tree too? Love love these construction series. 💜😎

My other half happen to be doing his thing nearby as I was watching you. Of course when you pull out tools and such, men pay attention. LOL He saw you doing the box cutter and told me regarding the knife you are using; see that black thingie on the end where it is toward your palm? That comes off and has two functions. It is meant to help you replace the blade by being taken off to get to it (like it you wish to add refill,) , and two by having a slot/going over the blade to help break off the dulled section. He told me to pass that on to be helpful. =) However, to boot he likes your cool black book with gilded tree. I like to too! I think you have done beautiful, meticulous work! I am still looking through videos and discovering/new to your channel, but loving it so far. If you have not done so yet, I would love to see what you could do with shabby chic (laces and stuff,) if that is your style at all. Thank you for sharing and having such a sweet nature and very clear, helpful tips and instruction! ~Kat =)
