Wonderful. This is a "how to masterpiece". In my opinion this one should have a lot more views. From my point of view this is looks just nice. Here goes my like. Yeah, waiting for the Part 2.
Now You are one step ahead of me! I like the idea of using original mounts, but like you I too have the same problems with them even when only using the front one. 😀
@@MotoMango we had a garage and my brothers did a bit of everything so I learned “bondo” and also real body work with fibreglass!!! Did lots of auto stuff loved being a grease monkey!!!
This is so interesting! You did a great job so far Zach! I totally did not know that was the first time you made a fiberglass seat until you said so!! Really interesting to watch. When I was a kid, my dad made a fiberglass canoe... It wasn't very pretty but still very cool. 😁
Idk if it's the same for bikes, but for our couch we used super dense foam to make it last longer, and then also wrapped it in batting for the initial compression and to keep shape overall. We then vacuumed it (wrapped it in plastic first) to put inside the fabric exterior that was way smaller than the foam to make sure it didn't break down and have the fabric end up wrinkly. Maybe something like that could work?
