Great way to make a pot - I use a simular Idea to make round pots. I had not thoughy of making square pots the same way - Again Great Job - I will be trying it as soon as the snow melts. To male an eazier in side shape tou might try - Put a dozen or so 1 1/2 sheet rock screws sptead out on your base plate likr spikes - Make up a stiff batch of plaster of paris and sand 2/3 sand to make it hard. scrape you shape, if you have a second layer of plywood with a cutout the size of your inner mold it will leave a nice lip and you can get nice concave cut on the inner mold to help elimante a crumbly edge. - whe the plaster dries give it 3or 4 coats of polyurithane floor finish. Rub your inner mold down with car wax and keep it clean with a dry wipe down between uses and a rewax when need it should last you a long time. Sorry I have no video yet. I am just getting started with this on line bit It is nice to see some else who can make a quality pot.

You can also use chopped nylon strand. put on a layer of concrete. then a layer with copped strand. Then the finish layer. cool video

that's a lot of materials and time for a pot. although you control a lot of the design for it, wouldn't it be more economical to just buy a clay pot?

Your video is good but too long. You could have made it in 10 mins

Get a mic. time lapse. put on a shirt. and mute the hammer drill. otherwise it's an informative vid.

Get good audio and camera work. It's a shame you're wasting your effort making this video without a good set up
