As the official grilled cheese master of the internet, I decided I would share a little guide on how to make a grilled cheese sandwich! If you want to see more, let me know! I have lots of tips to share.
I made grilled cheese last night, and decided to put some old bay seasoning and garlic powder. I also didn't have butter, so I used ghee instead. Came out really good, I recommend it
Just tried this, have no words to describe it. It simply was a mystical experience to taste it I honestly think that it's better than pizza. Could taste all the ingredients perfectly and the cheese pull was simply incredible. 10/10 - thank you so much for posting it! (I did not have american cheese but I used some I had in the fridge and a bit of grated parmesan)
Thank you man! I keep seeing these fancy grilled cheese channels and they look so good but I never knew what the spread was since they never actually tell you any of that, so thanks for actually giving a recipe!
@@Chef__Tyler you ain't the only dude who knows who to cook I've been cooking it that way all my life it's BECUASE IF YOU BUTTER OUTSIDE OF BREAD MAKES IT STICK TO PAN YALL AINT GOT COMMON SENSE AND THIS A GRILLED CHEESE CHANNEL
Try pairing muenster with havarti, it's very flavorful and is my go to for grilled cheese and melts if im willing to drop the extra cash compared to american
I tried this recipe and it was honestly amazing! I followed it by using mayo and oil and used american cheese and for seasoning i used some Oregano garlic powder and paprika and it was very good! I would recommend it and i think you should add your own twist for seasoning instead of following the recipe. Experimentation is how i learned how to cook lots of things.
This was actually sooo good, I don't have any other cheeses but sliced white bread, mayonaisse, salt & pepper, cinammon, cheddar cheese and margarine, I never know you could enhance the flavour of a cheese toastie but there we are.
this guy is on 999K subscribers right now and I'm just waiting until he hits 1m, also the grilled cheese I made while using your recipe turned out delicious!
Pro tip I've learned is toast one side of the bread first, place cheese that ive personally sliced on the toasted side, then place the second toast on top and toast the rest
According to J. Kenji Lopez-Alt, the key to it all is the American cheese, because the emulsifiers in it will blend with the other cheese, giving them the same stretchy properties.
I used this make my first ever grilled cheese and now I see why you said to shred it and also used to much cheese and mayo but still good also got like two strips of cheese pull which is a succes
Props for doing exactly what you said. I've never actually tried mayonnaise on the inside. I've tried it on the outside. And it's inferior to butter in every way. When people tell me they prefer mayonnaise because it makes a crisper crust, they're really telling me they don't know how to properly cook their sandwich in the first place.
I’m comparing the grilled cheese u make to how i make mine How i make mine: Either potato or white bread Mayo on the outside cook both outsides take off stove and put spray butter on inside then i put black garlic, garlic, and salt on two pieces of american cheese on it, some bits of bacon.. Cook fast cause we ain’t got all day, and put butter on the pan No cheese pull 😢 but it tastes really good Also i recommend dipping this one in old bay if anyone wants to try it I’ll give an update and tell you who’s tastes better Tbh his tastes better when it’s still warm, if u don’t eat it quick enough it doesn’t taste as good
I had nothing but some cheese and soem bread and i smoked some weed and was feeling really lazy studying, made a cheese sandwich and was searching if something like rhis tasty shit exists and i found this video,z,, godamnn man sandwich is getting ready
I've spent the last threw months attempting to perfect the art of grilled cheese, I've noticed shredded cheese provides a better pull but never thought of spreading the inside, what's the reasoning there?
I tried this and it was amazing, what brand of cheeses do you recommend? I tried Kraft American cheese and it tasted kinda weird. Also I never would’ve thought to use mayo but damn it’s good
My favorite method is using a shredded Mexican cheese blend, but it’s probably because I can’t stand American cheese. Cheddar is the GOAT cheese for grilling
I made the best grilled cheese I have ever made, i fried bacon, cut it up and put in sandwich with, mayo, spicy bbq sauce, honey, cheese(duh), garlic powder and chicken salt
I just used this to make dinner… AMAZING. I put garlic powder with mayo, butter, taco blend shredded cheese?!?! Swiss and mozzarella… and yes, I know that’s basically illegal but I don’t have any other cheese rn… I will say this though, don’t use potato bread for grilled cheeses
