Get the recipe for the Colorado Bulldog at allrecipes.com/... The Colorado Bulldog combines vodka, Kahlua, milk, and Coca-Cola for strong, sweet, and coffee-flavored cocktail.
Shake the booze and cream with ice. Strain into a short glass with lots of ice, but make sure not to fill it to the brim (we know you want to). Leave some space to top it off with cola.
Here's something to add to it, and you'd have to use a 16oz glass. So this is it, use all listed ingredients and add a shot of Bacardi 151.... Man, it's such an awesome mix! Of course finish it with a nice splash of Coca-Cola....Or.... Dr. Pepper... try it out... This is one of my all time favorite drinks.
I'm from Denver and believe it or not people actually drank these fairly regularly in the late 90s early 2000s, before half of the state became just hippy tourists. Which I have no problem with the hippy tourists that live there now I'm just saying Colorado was a different place when John Elway was king and people drank Colorado bulldogs.
Curious, how would this be different than a paralyzer...though I like the idea of half n half over milk...foolproof for not curdling :)...keep the alcohol comin' chief...cheers!!
how could you screw up a colorado bulldog so badly!!? 1) a colorado bulldog is put is a short glass not a tall glass, what you have made is called a "colorado godmother" 2) it is NOT made with milk, but preferably heavy cream but half & half will is a suitable substitute if you are pinching pennies 3) you do NOT pre mix, a colorado bull dog is layered. first the vodka, then the kahlua, then the cream, and finally the cola ( make sure the cola that you use isn't to acidic as it can curdle you cream). part of the beauty of this drink is in the layering. to pre mix it takes this away and it is completely lost to the consumer ( and by consumer i not only a customer but a home drinker ). a cocktail like this shouldn't just be a drink to be slammed down but should be enjoyed both visually and in flavor. well at least you got most of the ingredients right. smh next time get the bartenders guide to mixing drinks and read up on how to make a drink BEFORE making a video about it.
