We use these to call for assistance from the ones who passed on , if you have walked in the timberland recently and have a true heart ,... Go outside and blow it , when they hint at doing good things , do them a blessing , your life will turn good 😊
i always glue in the reed then grind smooth tonight i will make a whistle video i made them for years of dog training and then sold hundreds in gift shops plus it is so much better to have equipment that you make rather than buy take care great tutorial video...
I like it. Not that I think you need my approval almost two years later. LOL It kind of worried me though because I only heard it faintly on the first blow and not at all on the second! My wife came in and I asked her if she could hear it and when I played the video back both of us could hear it just fine! Turns out I had the speakers blocked the first time thru and when I moved the laptop so she could see, it uncovered the speakers! ROTFLMBO May be my mind I'm losing rather than my hearing! (And boy did I need a good laugh. Thank you)
What a terrific line.. "This is what my bench looks like when i do a project, then i clean it up" I have to remember that one. Thank you for showing us how to make a whistle, Dominic. Stay safe and stay cool
Lol! I like a clean bench, but just hate cleaning as I go! Lol! When I’m done I put some music on and have at it! The clean up is a project in itself! Lol! Thanks for watching my friend, I appreciate it!
Nice! I have a handful of antlers here that are too small to do anything with. Maybe some whistles are in their future LOL! Maybe I should start trophy hunting instead of freezer hunting so I can maybe put a nice mount on the wall or maybe not and not put anything in the freezer...
Lol! You definitely need to make one for your daughter! I hear ya one meat hunting, they used to call me doeminic! Lol! I would always take a doe to eat! Ya can’t eat antlers! Lol! Thanks for watching brother, I appreciate it!
Great job brother. That's a neat trick. I also drink Coffee year round. Hot coffee cools you off. Example: In the summertime if you take a cold shower you sweat as soon as you're done. But a hot shower makes you feel cooler. Works on the inside of your body the same way. Hot drink cools you, cold drink makes you hotter.
@@Dominic.Minischetti def and same to you! I’m waiting on some antlers to try some of your projects..match safe is gonna be the first one! Also after seeing the awl I think I’m gonna try to make an antler burnishing tool for my leather projects!
Great whistle and another awesome tutorial! I still drink coffee on hot days as well...a glutton for punishment I guess lol! Stay safe and take care brother! God bless! 🇺🇸🙏🏻
Good morning Dominic, what a great video I have never seen a whistle made from deer antlers. I always have a whistle hanging from my neck always always always. Part of my everyday gear for out in the bush. I'm thinking I'm going to have to look through my antlers and maybe try this project out. I have a caribou antler but I've been making stuff out of four years mostly buttons for bags. I love it when I learn something from these RU-vid videos great job Dominic. Tom
Thanks Tom! A whistle is a must in the bush! You should definitely make one! The first whistles I made were from 30-06 shells! Lol! Fun little projects! I happy you enjoyed it my friend and thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
That is so cool! You are so creative Dominic!! I started drinking coffee again too I'm not us d to it but need something to get me going lol. Really enjoy your videos thank you.
Another great hand made product, that was really cool brother! Thanks for sharing your ideas with us, I really enjoy seeing what your gonna come up with next😂 have a great weekend brother!
Hey dom. Sorry I've been away from you tube for a little bit I have broken my wrist quite bad I'm still in plaster but it getting better. I have loads of your videos to catch up on. I will hopefully get one out this week. Really enjoyed watching make this whistle sounds excellent. Keep up the good work brother
Thanks brother, I appreciate it! They all seem to have different sounds! And I do sell them. My email is on my about page. Send me an email and we can chat! Thanks again!
I absolutely love this! I would love to make one out of some of the elk antler the Mr.Bob the Roosevelt elk dropped me! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with everyone on here! Your the man Mr.Dom hope you have a great evening my friend! Cheers, Jerbs 👍🏼🇺🇸🔥🔪🔥🇨🇦👍🏼
I don’t think so, a ball inside changes the pitch as it moves around. It wouldn’t necessarily make it loader. Thanks for watching my friend, I appreciate it!
Man that would be sooooo cool to hand around the neck or on a pack for a survival whistle 🤩😍🤗 I say it every time “You Totally Amaze me Dominic “! Now I gotta find me an antler 🤔 I gotta have me a whistle like that 🤩🤩🤩🤩 or pray hard to win the give away if you have one for that 😄 ( even though I know someone else would end up happy lol! And I would still be happy for them 😉 but sad for me 😢) Your Awesome Dom..... love how the brain of yours works 👌🏻 stay cool my friend 😉
Awe thanks my friend, you always put a smile on my face! You’re so awesome! I always appreciate the kind words! You warm my heart! ❤️ Thanks so much for watching, I really do appreciate it!
It’s a trail and error thing. The angle of the cut and depth of the plug changes the pitch! Each one I’ve made sounds a little different. Thanks for watching my friend, I appreciate it!
Any common reasons why I can't get the whistle sound to work? I do have an antler whistle my wife gave me that works great but no matter what I do to both follow directions and/or cut/drill exactly as what I have that works, I can't get the whistle sound.
@@Dominic.Minischetti yeah mate. I fear I have damaged my ears from years of shooting. Problem lies with me , not your whistle. Loved the video. Thanks for sharing.
@@simonsparks5738 Oh I can understand that! Some many years shooting when I was younger with hearing protection has did a number on mine too! And you’re welcome my brother!
