For anyone having issues finding document setup with the newer Keynote release: You need to tap the name of the presentation (top left. downward pointing arrow beside it) and go to Presentation Options. Setup is there alongside other things.

So, I followed alongside and created my first digital planner with you. You are a great teacher. I was able to follow along, rewind when I needed to go back over it. I’m now stuck at the part of linking and master slide. I’m glad to hear you say it can be complicated and tricky to learn, but once you do it’s rewarding. I am now going to find your video for (hope you have one) for what now? Creating the linking and actually putting it together with the templates you want in the planner. Thank you for your help

I have always seen these digital planners but when I want to download the app I actually costs money but first I tried to make one with procreate it didn’t work out then I bumped into you and I so glad and happy that I did because this tutorial is so helpful keep up the good work :)

Kirsten you are a fantastic teacher. I have had an apple pen and ipad pro for a few years and I have been looking at digital planners for quite some time but never could figure out how to create one. You made this soo easy. I struggled for a minute (actually about 30) when you reverted back to the presentation from the master, but I refused to give up. I ordered your digital planner rings because I needed my planner to look good. I can't post it right now because I have been ordered to go to bed (I think my husband is jealous). I will though. I am a teacher and hope I can actually create a teacher version. If not, I will be ordering one from you. You are a blessing. Thanks again.

Update for new keynotes 2022 changed. This is how u can change ur size “tap Presentation Options, then tap Presentation Setup. Tap Slide Size, then tap a size. If you choose Custom, enter slide dimensions, then tap Done. Tap or. to preview slides in the new size. Tap Done.”

I am glad that I found your video. It’s very helpful and easy to understand. Hello! Thank you for all these useful tips! I am looking for some help with my planner. I looked at a number of videos including yours and made a planner from scratch. I chose to use the display size of my ipad for making my planner which is 2160 by 1620 pixels. When I finally exported the file to Goodnotes, I noticed that the pen sizes jad visibly decreased. The biggest pen and highlighter size looks like a mere dot on my planner pdf. Could you help me in understanding where I went wrong? Thank you so much.

I just wanna say you're like the main person I followed last year to help me make my planner! And I love how your channel has grown and improved! I'm trying to make some to sell now and I have a quick q, what dimensions do you use to make your portrait planners fit the whole iPad screen?

Yay! Thank you! And I typically just use the standard size in Keynote. I think it's 3:4 ratio. If I change anything about the ratio, it's normally the width. 1200:768 or 768:1200.

It was easier for me to buy a center and left binder ring already made from Etsy. I figure I can always learn how to make them later if need be. Also, I slowed down the video so I could follow it more easily. This from an old person trying to learn digital technology. It isn’t easy. Great tutorial!
