The only path to become a good archer is to become a bowyer. Funny how we could learn more about archery from learning how to make it than training how to use it. Five years intermittently making bows and I've learned more archery skill than I have ever had with a proper trainer. You sir are a good teacher.

Very cool. I was pretty close to ordering a clicker to try out. Now I can simply make my own.

Using a clicker has made me a much better shot. I also set my feathers back so the feather touches the tip of my nose at my draw length

Don't use the ball chain, makes alot of noice and can harm the finish on your bow if it kicks against it. Also you might use compound D-loop material because it's a little more durable and heavier so it won't twist around the string as much. Great video though!

nice, alternativ you can use a bicycle clock or an electrical drawswitch....

Good show. think i will give this a try but I'm surprised that little clicker part doesn't fall out of that other piece when you shoot the bow few times. never even heard of these things up until few days ago but i can see this thing helping with my inconsistent release habits. . of-course gonna need a hearing aid ;-)

Clay you know anyway to make the clicker quieter for hunting uses? I know Aron Snyder has said use Leuko tape, just wondering how you would do it.

hello sir I got to get myself one of those clickers. not for hunting my draw length isn't consistent. cant hunt with a bow in the UK. hell fart in the woods youd have the old bill on you? gone are the days when you could take one for the pot. used to love poaching when I was a kid. just one for the pot honestly?
